My children had purchased a TV for us at Christmas time along with a 2 yr service plan and I had contacted the number that was included in the service plan to register our TV and was told just to hang onto the receipt and phone the number in the service plan if we need to have anything repaired.
Hope this helps you.
Same steps, only the code is wrong: They are as follows
Region 1 (US, Canada) - 29334
Region 2 (Europe, Middle East, Japan) - 38767
Region 3 (South East Asia, Hong Kong) - 56732
Region 4 (South America, Oceania) - 76884
Region 5 (Russia, India) - 53814
Region 6 (China) - 24462
The unlock method should work for DVD players bought in regions 1 (USA) and 3 (south East Asia)
You need to use a One4All Universal remote for regions 1 & 3
1. Switch on the player 2. Pop open the CD compartment 3. Enter the following code (using the remote): 2812 4. Highlight the region 5. Change to 9 (for Multi-region) using the 'Enter' button 6. Hit 'Clear' to exit
