Konica C554 printing colors faded. Doesn't need new cartridges. What can I do to fix it?

Highlight the registered name in the Konica menu and then tap the "Delete" key.

does it copy that way? does the meter count sheet print ok how about the demo page

Reinstall the print driver. Does machine make copies, can you print from a different computer. try printing from different programs Outlook, word, adobe pdf. web page. CAN you ping the machine. does it show up under control panel under printer devices. Delete all print jobs from all computers or at the machine. Power off the machine. wait ten seconds power up.

We all as a canon printer consumer is needed to use Pro dot ink to refill. Please remove your cartridge and clean up the cartridge head tightly by soft/toilet paper and replace again. If it doesn't work clean it again and again... thanks

If its happening with single shade color
1) Take the Cartridge out of the Printer and shake it
2) Clean the cartridge drum with the Tissue Don't Rub slightly clean it
3) Take the Cartridge out and shake it
If page comes faded on every print Black or Color then there must be a Roller issue which is not clean
1) It could be the Roller side is not clean -
Need service for the Printer

I contacted Konica M again. We ran some printing tests. It seems to be bad ink cartridges, in particular the Cyan.

the printer carriage might be wearing out, it happens on the 5610's, may be time for a new printer. The fading issue sounds like a cartridge issue. Try a oem?

Have you tried cleaning the leans at the bottom of the printer? Open the cover, pull out the drum. Under it is a long, narrow piece of glass. If it gets dusty or toner accumulates on it, it will cause streaks in the printing. If this is dirty, take a clean, soft cloth and very gently wipe it off.

The imaging bar has speck of dust on it.
Turn printer OFF.
Open the printer. Pull out the transfer roller. Should have a big green handle. Do not touch the roller.
Look inside for a shiny rectangular block about 5inches x 0.5 inch.
This is the imaging bar. Using a lint free cloth with no chemical and no water, gently wipe this bar to remove any specks of dust/paper specks.
Put roller back.
Close the printer.
Turn printer ON.
Problem fixed.
