On my tour trek (no other model info, just tour trek on the shaft), there is a steering adjustment. The engineer hid it well. The front bolts that secure the axle to the U shaped bracket are also the adjustment. If you spin that bolt and let the nut spin with it, the bracket will move in and out. You may need to loosen the nut first to give it some play. In the picture, it is the bolt on the bottom. There is a threaded piece inside that has angled sides that does the work. When you get it where you want it, put a wrench on the nut to secure it.
