How do you do a factory reset on a Samsung ml-2525w printer?

The printer has USB disabled, and I do not know the password. So I can change the ethernet IP address using setip, but I can't change WiFi settings, and can't enable USB, because SyncThru web service demands a password. Is there a way to do a hardware factory reset on this printer? Two sessions with Samsung support chats have revealed nothing other than the utter ignorance of their employees.

If you have the install disc for the printer , you could delete from the hard drive and reinstall, If the Data is not installed in the printers memory this should work.

Samsung ML-2525W printer & Mac OS X 10.6

I think there are 6 ways (at least?) to connect this printer:
(1) Direct to Mac (or PC) via USB Cable (2) Direct to Mac (or PC) via Ethernet Crossover Cable (3) Ethernet to router/switch, with Mac/PC also via Ethernet to router/switch (4) Ethernet to router/switch, with Mac/PC via WiFi (802.11 wireless) (5) WiFi to router, with Mac/PC via Ethernet to router/switch (6) WiFi to router, with Mac/PC also via WiFi
As (1) should be simplest, tried this first. First document would print instantly and completely, next doc would hang in queue with unexpected msg, "Printer is offline." Only way to print 2nd doc was to power cycle (off-on) the printer. This problem occurred whether 2nd doc was sent to printer before or after 1st doc had printed. Tried 2nd USB cable, tried new driver, tried reinstalling printer; same problem. Spoke to both Samsung and Apple support, including both on a conference call; never got this to work and never clarified if problem was in printer hardware/software, driver, or something else.
Nothwithstanding USB problem, did succeed in modes (4) and (6), although custom wireless config needed since my network does not broadcast SSID and requires an encryption password. Also required different driver for wireless config (as opposed to USB).

go to the samsung web side and download the new driver's for your printer but safe them in the download folder, then deinstallate the old driver's from your system and restart the computer after the booting you can start with installation from the download folder and there is an option to reset the printer to the factory settings, do not forget to reboot after the installation then you can set the printer network from new.

Samsung ML-2525W monochrome laser printer; connected via USB to MacBook Pro. Prt driver 1.00.02. First job prints fine; 2nd job in queue fails to print, and ''Open Print Queue'' indicates ''printer...

I have the same problem with mine - first job usually prints but no go on the second one. It tells me the printer is "offline". In some cases I can't even power cycle normally. I have to unplug the back cord and plug it back in, then I can power back on.
I called Samsung today 1-800-726-7864 and was told the printer will need to be taken to a repair center for service. Wish I had better news.

Samsung ML-2152W won't initialize

I am working on one of these right now for a customer. It is doing nearly the same thing. I am 99% sure it has bad capacitors in the power supply. I have removed the power supply board and found swelled and leaking caps. I will get them replaced to verify, but I am positive that is the solution. Your printer will need either a new/repaired power supply or have your existing power supply board repaired.

Samsung Ml- 2245 chip

You have to check with your toner suppliers, they have chips for toners and drums, nothing in software you can do to get around the chips on a Samsung.
