If the gun barrel is dark, use a grey or silver paint marker to put the check mark on the rifle, but if the barrel is light colored, a black permanent marker should work fine. If you ever need to take the mark black off, come back and ask how (for free again, of course)!
You have to put compressed air into the cyl to hold the valves up (tool goes in place of spark plug)remove rocker cover ,remove cam, belt or chain !Put engine on TDC and mark valve timing dot,s on cam wheels so it goes back together the same , replace the seals one cyl. at a time,white out makes a good marker fo cam marks.

answer,yes,the prop shaft has about 10/12 bolts remove and re fit,[]tip] get a marker and mark the position inline with the old one ie run the line back and front.adrian,,,,,
a 12 volt test lamp, or a muti-meter, are very handy tools for finding the problems like you have. to check if you have power going to the rear markers? You can trace your wires better with one of these tools, and usually fix the problem quickly. also check all your fuses in the fuse box, mabey there is a fuse for the rear markers?
