Hi this is going to be the speed control board not the timer, the machine spins at different speeds depending on which setting you put the machine...you can access the speed control board by taking the bottom panel off. you should see it located at the rear right or middle left of the machine...looks like a box with a circuit board in it..they are quite easy to change but not cheap :( Hope this helps, feel free to comment again if you have any questions. Good luck. Mike
Hi there,
step 1- remove the face of the dryer, then remove the cover for the fan, check to see if object is blocking the fan, if object is there , remove object, if not go to step 2
step 2- check to see if the belt is broken, if the belt is broken replace the belt.
step 3 - remove the belt from the motor and turn the dryer on, if the motor doesn’t turn then you need to replace the motor.
These are the only causes.
Post further comment for more help.
Good Luck!!
Thanks
If the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley or a broken pump belt. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it. If the pump belt is broken or looks quite worn, replace it--but be sure to check the pump pulley before you change the belt.
It seems that there is some problem with the pump belt or pump itself.

Thanks, my question probably wasn't clear. It's the washer that's not spinning the whites dry. Spins colors cycle okay, just won't spin on the whites cycle. Even after the new timer unit, no go.
GLGH1462FS Laundry Center WASHER won't spin dry when on whites cycle. Replaced washer timer. Problem persists. What next?
