This is common. Check the right side of the front door. It will not be flush with the main case. Just give it a wack. it will work then.

If you are getting lines on the faxes you send it means that the glass of the scanner is dirty. Best method to clean the glass is rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth. The alcohol will remove adhesives and white out better than glass cleaner. You may need to look closely because a small amount of adhesive will distort the scans and cause lines and may not be obvious unless inspected very carefully.

Hi there remove the cartridge and clean the internal part. Then insert the ink cartridge and try. If you face same problem then reset the Printer and turn off for 5 minutes. Now again turn on and let me know the result.
