How do I change time zones?

Probably best to check and note how far in front or behind the time is for your destination and then either make the watch adjustment during the journey or when you arrive - adjusting it before you leave might cause you to inadvertently miss your plane.

Sounds like you're set for the wrong time zone, and your 12h/24h setting is off.

To change time zone: Hold down the adjust button until it beeps. Your time zone will be flashing at the bottom of the display. Use the Time Memo and/or Receive buttons to change it to the correct time zone. Then... To change to 12H mode: Press adjust again. 12H or 24H will be flashing at the bottom. Use the receive button to cycle the mode. When it's what you want, press adjust once more.

It may be set to DST (daylight saving time), see instructions for changing this.

This watch has the time set automatically by a radio signal. Leave the watch in a windowsill overnight whichever direction would face Denver Colorado. At 2am, and again at 3am, it will attempt to make radio contact and automatically set your watch! All you'll have to do is to set the correct time zone. If the store you purchased the watch at has not set the time to the correct time zone then obviously the different time zone (UTC in this case) that is showing on your digi face isnt exactly helpful....

Best bet is to go to the interactive watch instructions on www.citizenwatch.com to follow along on how to get it into your own time zone.
Just type in your model number exactly JR3060-59F into the search field. On the right side of the page is the Get Technical Info link..click on this choice. Now on this page is the next link...right side at the bottom of the list> Interactive setting instructions. The page changes again and you see the choice menu. Find Zone Settings...click and follow the instructions (note there is sound to it so turn your speakers on if you have them)

To change from 24 hour to 12 hour, you hold down the "Mode" button until it switches from 24 hour to 12 hour or vice versa. To change the time zone, you hold down the "Set" button until the time zone that you set it in flashes (like "LAX" on my watch). Then you press the "Receive/Start/Stop" button to choose the specified time zone you want. To set for daylight savings time ("DST" on the watch), after holding the "Set" button and having the time zone flash, you could press the "Mode" button. It will give you a few options for the daylight savings time (Auto, On, or Off). I chose the "On" option, which immediately changed for daylight savings time. If you manually want to change the time, you could hold down the "Set" button and keep pressing the "Mode" button until the time starts flashing on your watch, then pressing the "Receive/Start/Stop" button until you change it to the time that you want. You could also set the watch to beep or chime after pressing the set button if you wanted to know that piece. You hold down the "Set" button when you are done to get it to stop flashing. These instructions worked for my Timex T5G341 Universal Radio Control Watch. I hope this helps.

When changing time zones, your watch must be manually set for the new time zone you will be entering. This watch is not designed to adjust for new time zones automatically. Instructions for changing time zones can be changed using the directions found on pages 2-4 in your instruction manual. When changing to and from DST, your watch should automatically adjust for this difference with the next 24 hours after the change.
