There is a flaw in the Curve 8900 blackberries. After you type "BLACKBERRY", it asks you again to type the correct password. but since the password appears unmasked (without the asterisks) - that's the first flaw- there is no way to make mistakes right? well...thats what you might think.
The blackberry Curve 8900 has a serious flaw in the software that no matter how accurate you type your password, after the first try (when you type your password unmasked), there is no way to get back in because it will recognize your password as wrong ( no matter if you typed it right) and you data will be lost... I will notify this to T-mobile today but I will make sure Blackberry also knows about this bug, so they can fix it right away.
Sometimes if you type in "BLACKBERRY" it will have you type in a new password but i do know if you put your password in wrong eight times it will erase everything that you saved on your phone...
