INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR FOSSIL CH2698

See https://www.fossil.com/content/dam/fossil/PDF/watchinstructions/Fossil_Watch_Instructions_EN_US.pdf

The file is a compendium of instructions for a large number of Fossil movements, but it is unclertain which movements the model CH-2331 and CH-2698 watches use. However, movement OS10 (page 15) appears to be the only one that matches the dial layout, button layout and also has a date window as the CH-2331. The watch has a quartz analog mechanism and uses one SR927W 1.55-volt silver oxide button cell. Silver oxide cells have low current output, but very long shelf life, so if the stem is pulled out completely when the watch isn't being worn, the battery could last many years. Scan the instructions to match up the CH-2698 with a movement number. A good guess from examining photos of the face of a CH-2698 watch would be movements OS20 / FS00 or VD53.

How do I set the time on the Stella Tort Glitz watch (ES2795)? I've checked the Fossil website and tried their instructions and they don't work. I have tried moving the hands for the time set in...

Try turning the knob cc and cw a number of times; then pull the knob out hard all the way to pos. 3 and see if this helps. Sometimes it takes a number of times to get it to engage.

I have model fs-2919 would like to know what the other dials are for i dont have the booklet thanks for your help

The three small dials on this watch are all part of a "stopwatch" system. The small dial at the 12 o'clock is for tenths of a second( each half circle completed is one second or 1 whole rotation equals 2 seconds.) the small dial at the 6 o'clock counts a full 60 seconds for each revolution, and the dial at the 9 o'clock counts minutes(one full circle equaling an hour.) when the stop watch is started the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock dials will start at the same time. you will notice that every half turn on the top dial equals one "tick" on the bottom dial. After the first minute of timing the top dial will stop ticking as it is for more precise timing of things that take less than 1 minute. each full rotation of the bottom dial will then equate to one "tick" of the 9 o'clock dial. hence the three dials counting tenths of a second, seconds and minutes. the setting of these dials is fairly easy once you understand the purpose. on the side of the watch there are two buttons(one top and one bottom) with a setting wheel in the center. When in use the top button starts and stops the stopwatch and the bottom button resets the counters. To set the watch simply pull the center wheel away from the watch all the way(2 clicks) set your minute hand and hour hand and then tap the bottom button repeatedly until the small dials all line up straight up. once that is done push the center wheel button halfway into the watch or one click to set the date. then simply push the wheel the rest of the way in and voila!!! hope this answers some questions

Is there a easier way to change the month dial on a fossil

When you pull out crown, there is two positions (clicks), not just one. First click is for day/date quick setting. Second click is for hand setting. Pull the crown out slowly and carefully and you will soon find out both positions.

Rate, please.

Fossil JR9589

(I'm dutch, so I'll try in my best englisch)

I don't know if you still have the problem, but what you should do is te following:

* pull out the knob (2 times) and turn anti-clockwise to change the time
* keep doing until it's 24.00 (midnight) and you day change's to the UK (!) day.
* push back the knob (1 time) and change the day to the FRANCE (!) day by turning anti-clockwise
* pull out the knob again and turn anti-clockwise to change the time until 03:00 (midnight)
* you see the then change the day back to the UK day

So, every night at 00:00 the day changes to the FRANCE notation and at 03:00 it then changes to the UK notation, so you can enjoy this setting during the day.

Good Luck.
Also owner of JR9589 watch.

Set?

Press Both side buttons at the same time. This should reset the hours and minute mini-circles. Then use the top button to "start" the second hand moving again. press it again to stop the second hand. I'm unaware as to how to restart the bottom seconds circle.
