How do i set the temperature on my haier model number hvdw20abb

It is likely a Haier, not a 'Haiser'.. It is a AC Unit, so shouldn't be in the Category Cars and Trucks. I can change those.

You pressed a button combination set, Google
make model manual

Typical fridge temp. is 37- 40 degrees F.

Is the compressor again getting hot once you turn the temperature down? Will the refrigerator cool if you turn the temperature to as cold as it can get? Reason I ask is I am trying to decide if it is the thermostat or a defective staryt relay. Even at the cost of parts I would be careful and sure of what you are going to do here. Haier is not well know for quality products or customer support and there are other brands names out there that will support customers much better than Haier. Not trying to say bad things about your refrigerator I just hate to see when people invest into something and then get left holding something that Haier will not help with and does to all of their customer. I just found out you dont have to unplug the unit if the temp is set to low using your emerson tv remote number 5 adjust the temperature up if it's set to low

I have this same problem.  I have read discussions on this exact topic in several forums, and I have come across a link to a Haier Service Website.  http://service.haieramerica.com/  When you go to this site login with password "HAIER" and UserID "HAIER" and look up your model number (my model number is "HBF05EABB)".  There is a "service bulletin" which provides instruction/pictures for adjusting the thermostat.  I have not tried this yet, but I intend to later tonight.  I like my beer a little cooler than 41 degrees!  Hope this helps.
