Now follow all the seams 1st, squeeze some dye in a suspected area and watch. If the dye gets sucked in, there's a leak! If it just puddles and hangs around, keep checking somewhere else.
Once a lead IS found, vinyl liner pool patch! Can even be used under water.

If Possible empty pool now with a Controlled drain...
Peel back liner and clean area real good. Sand or steel wool to remove rust. Then Paint using one of those "Rubber" based leak sealing paints found in your local DIY warehouse store.
Then place a piece of Thin sheet metal against the wall after paint dried. Replace liner, coping strip, ridgidizing metal bar, and top rail.
Refill.
or if you're lucky...
Patch the liner. When all is dry, use 3 applications of Epoxy Putty like JB Weld. Place a small covering over the DRY area with the hole. If possible, force some into the hole.
Once dried and cured, place a 2nd patch, slightly larger over it, and then repeating a 3rd time, again slightly larger.
Not as good as First method, but may still work?
If left unattended...
The water pressure in the pool, will push the liner right thru that hole - like a hernia, and will burst thru releasing all your water and possibly collapsing the pool? This will be an "Uncontrolled" drain vs. the controlled drain above.
I guess you can choose which way you want to drain your pool?
Good luck on your warranty. I'm sure it will be pro-rated. 10 years is a long time for a liner to last. It usually costs 2,000-3,000 for a new liner and installation.
drain fish pond see what kind material the liner is made of and trouble shoot get a bulge pump pump the water into something that can hold it maybe like a kiddies swimming pool or something like a bigger yard swimming pool for fish and water wlmart sells swimming pools
Is this an above ground pool or an in ground pool? As a general rule you don't want vinyl to go too long without water. Water helps things stay in place. If the vinyl starts to shrink and bow inward there is a good chance that it will lose its elasticity and split when the pool is being refilled. I would advise you to go ahead and refill the pool. Leaks can be repaired underwater. In the event of a split I'd go back to the installer and pursue a new liner at his expense.
Your picture above is of a pool float, but I assume you are talking about an inflatable ring pool. Is that right? If so, this link will take you through a tutorial on how to find and repair pool leaks:
The easiest way to patch a hole in a vinyl pool liner is with the water still in the pool. With an inexpensive underwater repair kit, some swimming goggles and a few hours to allow the patch to cure, you will be back to enjoying your aquatic playground.

Instructions
Things You'll Need:
Pool repair kit (underwater) Rag Scissors Swimsuit Swimming goggles
Step 1
Locate the tear in the liner. You may need to get into the pool and examine the surface wearing swimming goggles.
Step 2
Read the patching kit instructions thoroughly before starting the job.
Step 3
Clean debris from the area around the tear using a rag.
Step 4
Use scissors to cut a patch for the hole. Use the vinyl from the repair kit to for the patch. Be sure it is at least 2 inches in diameter and will cover the entire hole.
Step 5
Use applicator brush that comes with kit to apply adhesive to the back of the vinyl patch. Do not apply too much adhesive or the patch will not cure properly.
Step 6
Fold the patch in half. The adhesive should be on the inside of the fold.
Step 7
Enter the pool water and relocate the area in need of patching. If hole is accessible from the outside of the pool, there is no need to get into water.
Step 8
Hold patch underwater as close to the hole as possible. Unfold patch while underwater and apply to the hole.
Step 9
Press the patch firmly while smoothing it from the center to the outside edges. This will help remove any excess air bubbles or water from under the patch surface.
Step 10
Let patch cure as indicated on repair kit instructions.
The only problem is that ther is a leak in the liner. Generally at the bottom where a rock or debris has made a small hole. They can be patched but the pool will need to be drained. Call your local pool service company.
