Trying to solve coefficient of variation with 2 data's diagnostics is :on
INVALID DIM error message may occur
if you are trying to graph a function that does
not involve the stat plot features. The error can
be corrected by turning off the stat plots. To
turn the stat plots off, press 2nd (stat plot) ,and
then select 4:PlotsOff.
• You specified a list dimension as something
other than an integer between 1 and 999.
• You specified a matrix dimension as something
other than an integer between 1 and 99.
• You attempted to invert a matrix that is not
square.

this happened to me as well. i looked it up and heres what i found:

basically you have a stat plot on so to turn it off, press 2nd and then the Y= button to get to "Stat Plot"
one of them is turned on so press enter and select OFF. this should fix the problem!

This is my first post on this site, but I've had friends at school ask me about this. Apparently I'm like a calculator genius or something...
One solution I know of is clearing the RAM. Sounds strange, doesn't it? But it fixed three different calcs.
Be sure to back up or archive important data before doing this.

Check the values you entered into L1 and L2. One of them is missing a value.

Here is what the manual says
INVALID DIM : The dimension of the argument is incompatible with th current operation. (As dimension of a matrix, a list).
You can tell us more about what your were trying to do, we may able to help. Reset memory to default, the error may disappear.
[2nd][MEM][7][2][2] Defaults set.
