You either have bad power supply or bad back light inverter board, those are the two things you need to check.

Checked Source Button on LCD side Switch or your LCD Micom Board is defective

It is possible that there is a problem with the battery. Try and take the battery out and plug it into the wall. If the unit still give you the same problem it will need to be replaced. There is nothing that can be done on a troubleshooting side to fix this type of problem. If it is under warranty I would suggest a swap.

I have the same problem, I just spoke with LG Customer service. They had me unplug the power cord, hold down the power button for thirty seconds, plug back in and turn it on, this DID NOT work for me, but maybe it will work for you.

Good Luck! Mine is going to a service shop, maybe what they tell me I can post and it will help you if you have not gotten your tv fixed yet!

There is quite a few models for each category. Each one will have different circuitry and troubleshooting procedures.
For example, LG make 18 different window models.

You should try going to the LG website http://us.lge.com/products/category/list/home%20appliances_air%20conditioners.jhtml Locate the specific model and then you can click the self-service button to help diagnose problems.

I Have the same problem, LG 32" , LC2D a couple of work arounds that work are

1) - never unplug the mains plug
2) - i noticed it does this when the clock time is --:-- , i find that switching to digital tv can stop this,

however these are only tempory fixes and the problem re surfices, as i have found out after having no problem for 12 months, i have accidently unplugged the mains, and now the tc keep turning itself off,
