Open the watch case. Find the small hole or tiny piece of metal with the pointed groove next to the winding stem and push it with a needle or pointed tweezers. Pull out winding crown while still pushing.

How do I set the day & date on my Timex Indiglo watch?

Google shows how.

https://www.leaf.tv/articles/how-to-set-the-date-for-a-timex-expedition-indiglo-watch/
?
?Quoting from the link above:
?
?"The Timex Expedition Indiglo wristwatch tells the time and date, illuminates at the press of a button, and can wake you up at a designated time. Once you receive and adjust your watch to your liking, you might have questions about how to program the date properly. You’ll want to have an accurate watch before wearing and relying on it throughout your day in class, at work or while exercising. You can set the date on your watch with a few simple steps.
Pull the plastic guard from beneath the crown knob (located on the right edge of the watch), and push the crown knob into the watch to start your watch. You will see the second hand begin to advance.
Pull the crown knob out to the middle position to set the day. The crown knob has three positions: “In,” “Middle” and “Out.” Turn the crown knob clockwise to advance the days up, until the current day appears in the window on the right side of the watch face. Turn the knob counterclockwise to move the date down in number. Push the crown knob all the way in to start the watch.
Pull the crown knob completely out, if the day doesn’t change with the knob in the middle position, and cycle the time backward or forward through 24-hour periods until you arrive at the current day. Push the knob in to start the watch.
Pull the crown out to the middle position and adjust your date to the next month for months that have less than 30 days. Your watch will cycle through 31 days every month, so manual adjustments for shorter months are required."

I have a F ossil Arkitekt (fs-2990) that is a several years old. I removed the back and the battery to change out the battery and noticed that one of the numeral bars on the face has dislodged itself. in...

The knob that adjusts the time is called the crown, and it will have a stem attached to it. You will need to remove crown and stem together.
If it's a screw-down crown, unscrew it.
Examine the watch mechanism very carefully while pulling out the crown (as if you were adjusting the time) and pushing it back, What you are looking for is basically anything that moves. If you do see parts of the mechanism move, look very carefully around that area for an arrow mark impressed in the metal pointing to a small dip in one of the metal parts.Often, this is on a tiny lever but not all manufacturers bother with the arrow.
Ensure that the crown is pushed back to it's normal position. Put a tiny amount of pressure on the dip (a needle is ideal for this), and carefully attempt to pull out crown and stem. You may need to apply slightly more pressure to get a result, but please take care not to press too hard or you may damage the mechanism.
Hopefully, that should sort it out. To refix the numeral bar, I'd recommend super glue - but you only need a tiny, tiny amount. Apply it with the tip of a needle and you shouldn't go far wrong.
Once you're looking at reassembly, you should be able to reinsert the crown and stem without depressing the dip but do it gently and don't force it - it may need a slight turn to relocate properly before it slides back in.

I hope this was easy to follow - get back in touch if you get stuck.

HI, I have a dz7069 can you please help me how to set the minutes in time two, we can set the hour for time two but not the minutes Thanks,

The best advice I can offer you is this.
Setting the Watch
  • Pull on the watch's knob, located on the right side of the face. It will pop out to a wider setting, one notch outward. This notch is the hour and minute setting for your watch. Turn the knob to move the hour hand, and set the proper time. Press in on the knob, against the spring, until you feel it hit the base. Wait to verify that your second hand begins moving, indicating that your watch is keeping the correct time.

On digital watches, press and hold the top button until the time begins flashing. Use the bottom button to move the hour and minute. Press the top button again to replace the new time and set your watch.
  • Repairs and Service
  • Keep your receipt and warranty paperwork in a safe location. This documentation will be important for repairs, resale and service. Visit your closest Diesel store for repairs requiring mechanical adjustments--or a trusted jeweler can handle the maintenance such as wristband alterations. Note that your Diesel watch may use links, held in place by small pins. These pins are best removed and adjusted by a jeweler or watch technician, so as not to damage the quality and value of your watch.

Watch face/knob rubbing a sore in wrist; had it adjusted twice; needs more adjusting? or is it too large for hand?

It depends. Maybe your skin is very sensible. May be the material used is't good for you. But mostly the main reason is: crown (you say knob) is too large for the wearer or have too sharp edges. Visit your nearest watch repair shop and explain what the problem is. Watchmaker will find other crown (different in shape and size, but no lesser quality) and will fit to your watch for your comfort. Rate me, plz.

I have a seiko chonograph couturo alarm. 100m

Many of the Seiko Chronographs have the same setting options (mine is the lightweight "Titanium Sports").

First off, the alarm dial must show the same time as the actual main dial. If not you must adjust this first.

Pull the knob at number 4 position on the watch face out, until you feel two distinct notches/clicks (around 0.5mm travel) and the alarm will make a shrill buzzing for about 1 second.

Now turn the #4 knob to move the small alarm dial at the #6, to be the same as the actual time displayed on the main face, and press the #4 knob fully back in. This sets the alarm and the main time to the same ....er....time. You do not need to do this again, unless you adjust for daylight saving times during summer/winter.

Now you can set the alarm chime point.

Pull the #4 knob out again, but just one click. You should hear one ping from the alarm. Now press the button at #8 position. It will move the small alarm hands by 1 minute intervals, and if you keep it held in, the dial spins around quickly. This allows you to adjust the time the alarm will chime.

When you've got the alarm time and it's chime point set, leave the #4 knob at one click out.

If you wish to switch the alarm off simply press the #4 knob back in, and the alarm dial will spin around to the same time as the main dial.To re-enable the alarm pull the #4 out one click again. It's quite simple once you get the hang of it.

    Tag Heuer watch

The knob is a screw-cap seal. When closed (screwed in) it closes the chamber to prevent water from entering the watch.

You will need to unscrew it. It should snap out. In this position, you can wind the watch. Pull the knob out one click, and you can adjust the date. Pull the knob another one more click, and you can adjust the time.

Push the knob back in. In order to seal the watch back up, you will need to push the knob in while turning the knob. You will know you did it correctly when the knob will not turn any further.

    Good luck.

I have a seiko flight watch, unknown of the model, second hand doesn't reset

I guess the blue faced SEIKO is a Flightmaster (Model: 7T92- OCFO)and it is a great watch. This is a common problem with most chronographs and this happens due to misalignment with usage.

All you need to do is pull out the locking crown all the way out (2nd Step) as if setting time. and then press and hold the top / left button and at first the milli seconds hand resets. after which you have to press the borrom / right button to move the seconds hand in to place. and then reset the time and lock the crown. You can repeat this for Milli Seconds, Seconds, Minutes & hours hands.
    Hope this helps,
    Krishna Chaitanya GT.
