What is Error Code E1 on a Minolta EP-2010

Sir/Mam,
Your ATDC sensor located in the developing unit or main board is bad. Have you recently had the developer replaced in the machine and did the person doing that use a vacuum cleaner to clean out the old developer if so then the static electricity form the vacuum cleaned destroyed the sensor. NEVER USE A VACUUM Cleaner to remove developer in the developer unit.

Have the image unit replaced or have tech come out and have the developer replaced the counter cleared and run F8 run, after the developer is installed. Also replace the fuse on the image unit so the copier thinks its getting a new image unit when only its getting a developer changed. My photo copier keeps saying pc ?

I worked on a EP 1030 copier and the error PC is when the machine doesn`t pickup paper. Make sure pickup roller is clean and there is paper in paper tray.

Check the hot roller for a scratched surface. Otherwise you may have a bad photoconductor.

Error code j3 for ep 1030

j3 - exit jam
search for a lever at the exit point of the copier, you sould be able to see the sensor at the lower part of the fuser. I may bejamed or the flag broken.

Remove the image unit,remove the charge corone block and clean.It is dirty.

Dirty printing

Hi,

Thanks for using Fixya!

If your printer is printing bad quality prints, You'd better use the printer cleaning software that came with your system. Most of the time, this software is installed to your operating system. So, just do the normal way of cleaning your printer head but do it like 5-10 times.

Imaging unit toner detection failure - during concentration read operation (F8), the result is less than 1v. Replace the developer and retry the F8 procedure.
