I need to replace a part on my Miele touchtronic W4800 washing machine, but I can't find a parts list anywhere. I have searched the Miele website and looked for a service manual. The rubber part is on the drum where the water outtake leads to the drain pump. This part fits on a small peg sticking out of the drum and it rubs a hole in the rubber over time. We repaired it with an inner tube patch, which lasted for a few years, but has rubbed through again and we need to get the part. Does anyone have a copy of the parts schematic?

Hello Buvamo,
You may want to check the water valve and make sure it is all the way up where the intake line is.
The other area to check for water not draining is the lint trap. While the intake/drain fault is on the door will not open for the lint trap.
There is a release lever at the bottom of the machine (Orange in color) that is below and behind the trap door. Just pull down on the lever and that will open the trap door. You may want to put a towel under there as it will leak once the door is opened. inspect and clean the trap and try running cycle again

There is a float switch in a pan under the machine. This pan is probably full and the float switch is causing the Intake & Drain fault signal. You can lean the machine over to towards the front to partially drain the pan. Put a towel down to catch the water. When you put the machine level again the fault lights should be out. The real question is where did the water come from. You can easily remove the top (4 screws, 1 on each side behind the little plastic caps and 1 on each side of the back. Torx heads) and look down inside while you start the cycle. Look for leaks.
Good Luck,
Dan

hi - If I remember correctly this particular series had a time related sequence built into the programme, whats happening is the timer has picked up the false readings when the pressure activates the switch.
Suggestions to look into - leave power off & turn water back on - does water run into the machine (faulty valve); turn power on initiate a cycle water runs, then turn power off - is water still running? (faulty valve)
From experiences on the field, theres a slim chance that the pressure tube has a hole in it from the vibrations over time. This effect will not create enough pressure in the tube to activate the pressure switch, the only other problem would be the pressure switch itself.
