How can I change the wrist of my new apple watch?

I guess that you can buy them on-line or in apple store but you can definitely change them, this is what apple say in their website: A different band can really change the look of Apple Watch. So we created a full range of them in a variety of materials. The grooves in each case are precision engineered and CNC machined to ensure a perfect fit with any band. And beautifully designed buckles and closures provide the perfect finishing touch.
Good luck!

I want to change the watch strap, mine is brokem

Probably don't need special order band. Most people buy band that is same width. Bands have a collapsible post on each side where they attach to the watch, you just pick a band that fits the width. To change a watch band you have to use something like a razor blade (single edge common to cleaning) to wedge between the metal frame of the watch and the band, then try to get some friction on the post and push it away from the watch and toward the middle of band such that you collapse the post and get it out of one hole that the post is in (2 holes 1 on each side of post) so you can tilt the post out. A new band usually has 2 posts included since it is common to bend the old posts getting them out and hard to just buy those. Put the post in the band, put one end of post into a hole, then tilt and compress with the razor to push post into position, then slide the razor out which allows it to go in the second hole. Now band stays attached.

I have a Casio (593 F91W) and cannot get the pins out to change band. Jeweler cannot get the pins out. What is the secret?

It's likely that your band pins are thin and do not have collars that can easily be grabbed by most band removal/installation tools. If you are already changing the band, the best thing to do would be to cut off the band so that the pins are clearly visible, then use a set of nipping pliers to cut the band pins in the middle. At best, you'll cut them in half; at worst, you'll bend the pins into a "V" that will pull at least one end out of their holes. Obviously, you'll need fresh pins with your new watch band.
Efforts to dig the pins out of their holes can easily damage the holes themselves, making the watch useless.

I can;t figure out how to change bands on my baby

It is easy for anyone who did it, but for the first time can be quite tricky. You have to take small screwdriver or pocket knife and insert the blade between strap/band and watch case lug (where the band is attached to watch), then pry it inwards applying some pressure. It will release the spring lug and the band will come off. You may need to repeat this on the other side of band as well. Rate me,plz.

I need to change my watch band

Where the band meets the watch - push the band a bit to expose the pins that hold it on.. The pins are spring loaded and will compress with the push from a tiny flat screw driver..

You can get replacement bands at most retal stores..

OR - take the watch to WalMart jewlrey dept and find a band that fits and they will help you chang it..

Good luck ;o)

How do i change watchband for casio bg169wh

Take the watch with the broken watchband and place it on the table. With a ruler, measure the width of the broken band at the point where it is attached to the watch. Now, measure the total length of the watchband when it is in one piece and fits around your wrist. There will be a crease on the band where it is normally buckled.
  • Step 2 Go to the local store and select a band that you like. You should make sure that the width of the band at the point of attachment to the watch is the same as the old band. Also make sure that the new band will be long enough and not too long to fit your wrist. Purchase the band and return home to change the band.
  • Step 3 Clear a spot to work and make sure that there is a small towel covering the table top so that you can see anything that may drop or pop out during the process of changing the band.
  • Step 4 Use a magnifying glass to look at the point where one side of the band is attached to the watch. You will see a small pin connecting the band to the watch on either side of the band. Carefully use the jeweler's screwdriver to depress the spring loaded pin from the watch to the band and release it from the watch. When the tension on the spring pin is released it may pop out of the band and you will want to take care not to lose it. Repeat this process with the other half of the band.
  • Step 5 Take the new band and slip the spring pins into the small holes on the end of the band where it will attach to the watch. Working with one end at a time, slip one side into the pin hole in the watch body.
  • Step 6 Use the jeweler's screwdriver to depress the other side of the spring pin and guide it into the pin hole in the other side of the watch body. Repeat this process with the other half of the watchband and other spring pin. You now have a new band for your broken one.

    Discolored white nautica watch band

If your watch band have UV sensitive pigmentation in it, there is nothing you can do, but buy the new band.
Find your nearest jeweller and ask to clean watch band in ultrasonic cleaner for 1 hour. If this kind of cleaning doesn't help, that means your watch band is UV sensitive and is and will be discolouring more and more by the time.
Alternatively you can try to clean it with the lighter fluid (ZIPPO). Soak a soft cloth in to lighter fluid and clean the band. Start with a small area inside band to make sure the fluid is not reacting as dissolver, as some resins react quite vigorously and tend to transform into chewing gum sort of state.
And again- if this cleaning doesn't help, the band is UV sensitive and discolouring is taking place.
That discolouring is happening becouse some of the colour pigments used in resin manufacture are sensitive to ultraviolet light and when exposed to sunlight or daylight, they react in a chemical
way, changing molecular structure, wich we see as the colour change. This process can not be reversed and this is why the band can not be cleaned.
Do not forget to rate please.

Jim, you still need to remove the pins that the band is being held on with. You can use a small jewelers screwdriver to push them in.
However, I am having a tough time getting my new band on!
