My first thought was that it was a problem with the drive belt or tensioner, but if it spins, that can't be the answer. That points to a main board or motor controller problem. In the first instance try a Power Reset. Disconnect the machine from mains power for a couple of hours, or preferably overnight. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and then plug it back in. If that doesn't fix it, you need a service call. It doesn't appear to be a known issue.
Unplug it for a minute, that should reset it, if that does not work, then you need to get a meter to check the heating coil and also the water valves to see if they are ok.
Make sure you use high efficiency detergent. The front load machines take a special kind of detergent to make them run smoothly. Check your drain hose for clogs, and clean the pump again. If none of these fix the problem, you will probably need to replace the pump.
The pump was working but not pumping. The rubber hose from the bottom of the drum to the pump was removed and found to be partially blocked. The debris inside the rubber hose was cleaned out and reassembled with no further problems.
