If this happens just recently, most probably the cause of dripping is that there is something that blocks and restricts the condensate line and it causes the water to overflow and drips.

Try to check the line if it is free from any obstruction.

Sounds like the drain needs cleaning if not clean the unit complete
inside pan and coils with a coil cleaner purchased at your Appliance repair store or A/C parts and Repair shop.
Don't forget to tilt the unit back a bit off level.

Your coils need cleaned, and change the filter too. make sure drain is not cloged also.

AC units work like dehumidifiers, they do take the humidity out of the air. The hose is there so that you can drain the unit to the ground. Make sure the drain and hose are clear of obstructions

try cleaning the port for the drain plug, when the air is damp outside it will condence a large amount of water. Aslo make sure unit is level so it will drain properly.

The best way to clear the drain line is by using a shop vac and sucking out the blockage and the water. This will make sure all the goop in there comes out. Let me know if you need anything else.

It sounds like your drain line may be partially plugged. Some times a small insect will get in there and cause a partial obstruction. IF the line is clear and the water continues to drip over the sides then make sure the unit is balanced So that the water will flow to the drain and not out the back.

 during Cooling and Dry modes, if the unit is used under conditions of
lower temperature (18C)  the heat-exchanger may freeze, leading to water leakage and other damage.
If the unit is used for long periods under high-humidity conditions, condensation may form on the surface of the indoor
unit, and drip onto the floor or other objects underneath. (About 80% or more)
