White dots indicate a bad DLP CHIP from Mitsubishi. They are aware. They have contacted with T.V.repair companies to come to your home to fix (replace) the CHIP for $200 (good price).

Hi
Have you tuned the channel frequency tuner? Use the remote to bring up setup menu on TV, scan channel frequencies & save. If it's an old TV that can't pick up digital signals, then you need to get a digital set top box & tune to TV.

How do I fix the white spots on the screen of my samsung model HL-S4286W. The white dots keep multiplying. Is there a repair manual for this that you know of?

It is not a user repairable fault. It can be repaired. Contact the authorized service center for Samsung.

Cracked screen & white dots appearing since the crack appeared

I have a Mitsubishi TV and had the same problem. There is a mirror that moves to control each pixel. When some of them fail to move you get the white dots. Google your problem and a company will come up(sorry forgot the name).,you can buy the new part from them and they have exact utube videos to help you do the repair. Took me about an hour. Part was around $150. Very rewarding feeling when you turn the tv back on with no white dots.Still dot free after two years

White dots on screen

The DLP chip is failing. There is no way to fix this except to replace the DMD (digital mirror device) chip. Contact Mitsubishi for repair centers.

Light bulb

White dot for DLP Projector TV is not because of the light buy. It is caused by aging DLP chip ( DMD Chip.) Your TV DLP Part should be the following image:

White "press dot" screen

The actual answer is to press the dots, but use a dull plastic tool that fits "within" the dot. Otherwise the width of your finger is too imprecise to calibrate the dots and screen.

Hope you, and others, get this and try it. It works. I just discovered it and did it, successfully after only about 10 presses.

White dots all of screen

sound like you have a bad dlp chip. this happens to a lot of samsung dlp tvs. some of the mirrors are stuck. they can appear as black dots or white dots and it usually gets worse over time.

White dots

There might be an issue either with your DMD board or your Video board, with the tv on, go to the menu, and if those white dots are still there the issue would be with your DMD board but if those dots magically don't show up on the menu, the issue would be with your Video board

I have white dots on the screen of my hsl4266wx/xaa?

If these dots are only seen when the picture is on I would look for the Optical Block to be causing it. Are the dots in the same place each time you turn it on?
