How to change battery on timberland steel watch

Nothing I see makes my believe it has more than one battery. It is a standard analogue / digital watch.

Apparently there are fraudulent sites as well that pretend to have the manual, so beware.

Possibly a free Timberland manual with a model number can be found on the Timberland manufacturer site, but unknown what model that is.

the issue is more to do with parts availablility as the licences has been held by three companies in the passed fifteen years.

If you'd been given the correct answer in the first place you would have simply unscrewed the back, which is what the notches are for. I scratched my back plate trying to follow the answers you got!
