It seems to be working fine it cleans my dishes and doesn't seem to be hurting or harming anything it starts out quite and about 1/2 way through it makes a loud buzzing sound and that lasts about 15 min then it gets quite again and carries on normally
Normal. The buzzing noise should happen only during a draining period.
Countertop dishwashers use 2 motors. One is for washing other is for draining. The drain motor is a conductive type motor. It works like a air pump for fish aquarium. They are noisy.
When the drain motor turns on for a Danby dishwasher, it sounds like a buzzer. This is normal

Take the cover off, as you face unit on right side follow the vacum hose to two presure switches. Tap on them lightly with a the handle of screw drive. fix my unit three months ago still working. The problem is the presure switch.

Very important only use half teaspoon of soap. To much soap can cause it to leak. Also only use dishwasher soap.
SOURCE: Water pools in bottom of dishwasher and dishes come out dirty
Pump is stopped up, or bad, can you here the pump run, if so drain and make sure there is nothing in the intake of the pump.
