I kept getting "fuser error" soon after I purchased printer. Now it won't print. can I repair it myself?
SOURCE: Engine Fuser Low Heat Error
there is a 2 wire device (thermistor) that rests against the fuser roller to measure the temperauture. if the fuser is getting quite hot, suspect the thermistor to be either dirty (remove and clean it with alcohol) or defective. if fuser not getting hot, then suspect burned out fuser heater (look inside fuser roller for a long light bulb).

Thats probably the best way to solve the solution. Sometimes if there is a thermistor that is causing the problem that can be serviceable in the fuser unit, that can be replaced instead of purchasing a whole new fuser assembly. It's less expensive replacing the thermistor.

Engine Fuser Error appears on the display.
you must change your heat termostat
SOURCE: error message Engine Fuser Overhaet
The fuser rollers (large orange rubber rollers visible with top cover open) are getting too hot, or the temperature sensor/wiring is faulty and misreading the temperature. Assuming sensor is okay, check the exhaust fan is running and expelling warm air as over time it will clog with dust and the fuser unit won't be cooled effectively.
920 Fuser Error indicates the Fuser is below temperature while printing. The fuser, melts or fuses the toner to the media and has a heat roller and a pressure roller. The heated roller is heated by a halogen lamp or in some cases a solid state ceramic heating element and is subject to failure.
If this is the first time you have seen the error
