Why does my Fujitsu P42VHA30AS not recognise composite video

I have bought a digital receiver which only has scart, Composit and hdmi outputs. I got a hdmi to Composite converter and connected to my fujitsu plasma but there is no signal to the screen.

You will then need to repair windows, ensure your cd drive is set as first boot device in bios and insert windows cd and press 'R' for repair instead of install when all the setup files have loaded.

Try resetting the system BIOS for the MB. Usually a jumper on the MB that clears CMOS and puts it back to the defaults. Does this have onboard video or a seperate card?

SOURCE: Fujitsu Siemens Black Screen problem

Hold the power button in for a few seconds, until it powers off. When it reboots, change your power settings. Don't shut the monitor off after any time span, it isn't necessary.

SOURCE: 'USB device not recognised

Hi Peter,

Try this solution. Just follow this step to uninstall and reinstall the USB drivers. I am assuming that you have a Windows OS.

1. click START
2. right click My Computer (an icon of this can also be seen on the desktop)
3. left click Manage
4. Computer Management will appear
5. look for Device Manager and click it
6. on the right panel, you will see Universal Serial Bus controllers
7. expand that by click the plus (+) sign next to that
8. delete everything under that by highlighting each one of it, then on the keyboard, just press delete
9. once finish with everything, just reboot the computer

Let me know if this works.

SOURCE: Vertical lines on screen on Fujitsu N6010, not

If no lines via monitor then the lcd is going bad. Only way to fix it is to replace the lcd. SOMETIMES it's a bad lcd video cable but it's rare.

Only HDMI Video works. All other inputs/components have sound but no video

Some receivers have settings to switch the video circuits off when other parts are used. You will have to look around the manual to see if the video settings can be switched off.

What product would I require to hook up my Compaq laptop to my old TV Sony Trinitron to be able to watch films??

It all depend what output is available on your laptop. From what i see on internet your TV has front input for sound and composite video (yellow plug).
If you have VGA connector on laptop than you can purchase VGA to Composite video adapter, sound will come from ear phone output on your laptop.
If your laptop has only HDMI output, than you can buy HDMI to Composit (S-Video) adapter. Those have also audio out since HDMI carry both sound and video.
You can check internet for where to purchase those in your area.

I have a UK satellite receiver with Roa input and scart output and want to connect it to a hdmi TV. Are there any scart to hdmi connectors and will that work or do I need a convertor as well?

Simply using a cable with a scart connection at one end and an HDMI connection at the other will not work as scart is an analogue signal and HDMI is a digital signal and so you will need to buy an HDMI to Scart Converter/Adapter to change the signal.
There no such thing as Scart to HDMI Cable HDMI Hero Splitting HDMI pictures has never been easier

Denon 1312 receiver composite video inputs do not work.

I'm having the same problem with my Wii output. The manual for the Denon AVR-1312 says that analog video signals (i.e. component/composite outputs from the Wii) are not converted to digital video signals (i.e. HDMI output from the rcvr). I'm running only HDMI to a projector, so the video signal is essentially lost. The fix appears to be to run an additional composite cable all the way to the projector. Sounds like your fix is the same. No Wii tonight! :(

RX-V465 output HDMI 1 will work but HDMI 2-4 won't, also when I hook up Wii via rca to receiver only get sound no picture.

This receiver has only one HDMI output, but 4 HDMI inputs. If some inputs don't work, try connecting the equipment (DVD for example) to HDMI input which works with other equipment....
For the RCA (composite) video input - it won't work, because this receiver don't have any video processing circuit.
So HDMI input video goes to HDMI outout connector.
Composite (RCA) video input goes to Composite outout and no other video output.
S-video input goes only to s-video output.

I have a denon avr-2807 receiver. on tv mode, i can only get analog signals. i am using an optical cable and the signal is only transmitted in digital. how can i correct this?

An optical cable is digital but its only audio not video. Are you connected to a cable or satellite box, are you using composit video, s-vid, component video, or hdmi? What kind of cable goes from your denon to your tv?

Sharp television and panasonic cinema system with hdmi connection

Ok, here's the deal. You can have sound being putout from hdmi coming from one of those sharp units, but it just depends on how you are connected. If you are using a digital audio output, from the tv, it wont push out the sound the way that it should. You will have to downgrade to using audio composite cables to connect to your external speaker system from the audio ouputs, not the digital audio outputs. Its not designed to push out sound from an hdmi cable. The BEST way to have this setup is to run your sound directly from the cinema to the external audio source(leaving the hdmi cable in the tv).

No video on all input channels but input 3.....input 3 is perfect.

I believe on this unit input 3 in composit input directly to the av pwb. input 4 and 5 are hdmi and go thru main digital bd. If the composit inputs work and the hdmi's don't you most likely have a defective main digital pcb.
