3 1/2 years old. Under counter mount. Door seals. Light works. Condenser vacuumed regularly. When turning dial on, the fan or compressor comes on. Air flow from the bottom front of the unit. Sometimes sounds like water running in the back of the unit. Cools to a certain point, but then shuts down and does not come back on. The only way to get the fan (or compressor) to come back on, is to turn the dial off, let it sit for a few minutes and then power back up. Repeats the same cycle. Thermostat? Control panel? Bad compressor?

If compressor is running then unit has a sealed system issue- throw it away unless still under wty. If comp not running then probably bad relay on it. Only way to check is to replace relay. Please contact me if you need further help or leave feedback if appropriate as that is how I get paid. Thanks for letting me help you!
SOURCE: cools at start up....then gets warm..compressor is warm.
I would need to know the model of this. However if the condenser fan is Not runing then the problem is that. If it is then it could be the sealed system and you will need a tech to check it out.
SOURCE: Refrigerator compressor motor will not run.
Does the fan work? If yes then the compressor has a relay and overload that might be bad. Or it could be a compressor that is bad. If its a compressor then you will need to have a tech verify that it is the problem. If nothing is running then it could be a thermostat thats not switching it on. Let me know if you need any more help with it.

Good day,
You should first verify the age. There should be a 5 year warranty on the compressor. In your owners manual it might refer to it as a sealed system component or compressor.
Call your selling dealer and verify that. If it is, then have a service call performed by them, or an authorized repair station they use.
