Open small door at bottom front of washer. get a pail and put small black hose in pail and remove plug. After machine is drained remove large screw cap. probably a sock or something in trap remove and put back in place.

Testimonial: "Hi Tom This is a top loader LG Turbo Drum Fuzzy Logic WF-T9230TP washing machine and it don't have any door in bottom front."

Sorry about that thought it was front load. sounds like peice of clothing might be stuck in the pump. Not too familiar with top load LG. Try google search with problem

SOURCE: My LG TROMM (WM1812CW) does

This code means that something is blocking either the water drain pipe, pump filter or the pump itself. I had the same problem and removing the filter (as recommended by LG) did not help. It turned out I had a piece of debris stuck in the pump propeller itself and consequently the water would not drain and the wash would not finish, prompting the error. This is what I did to fix the problem.
1. I removed the cover on the left bottom corner and the removed the filter and unhooked the little rubber tube (drain).
2. I removed the pump cover (lower left corner of the washing machine) and unscrewed 3 screws holding the pump from the front.
3. I disconnected the power supply and removed the back panel (attached with 4 screws)
4. Disconnected the two hoses (one black, one gray) from the pump.
5. Disconnected the power supply to the pump (I had to cut a plastic tie holding the connector in place in order to bring the connector closer so I can disconnect it).
6. Removed the pump by pressing a little tab that was holding it from the back.
7. Once I removed the pump from the washing machine, I took three screws out of the pump motor, gaining access to the propeller. This is where I found a little piece of plastic. Apparently propeller couldn't spin because of that obstruction.
8. I put the pump back together and attached the hoses. This is easier to do when you have the pump closer to the back opening of the washing machine.
9. I then connected the pump power supply connector, locked the pump back in its place and replaced the screws.

The total repair took less than 45 minutes. The hardest part was to remove and replace the drain tube springs, because I did not have the right pliers (You need decent size pliers or plenty of strength in your hands to squeeze the metal bands).
The tools you need for this repair are:
a philips and flat screwdrivers, large pliers and a sharp knife (to cut a plastic tie)

This is probably a lid cover open protection. Check to see if there is a magnet on the cover, positioned almost to centre (slightly to the right) at edge of the cover. There is some sort of plastic catch to house the magnet. If it is not there, place a magnet at the corresponding area on the washer where the plastic catch will touch when the lid cover close.

I would say your pump is broke. Have you checked to see if it is working yet?

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or back feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET valve to open up and allow water to flow into. If this does not happen then the voltage at the inlet valve must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for rinse and wash.

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the dry spin with the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water from the clothes during the spin.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

Hello Johan,
This sounds like the pump has jammed up or the pump has failed. Remove pump and check wether there is anything jamming it up.
also if you put it on a spin cycle check if the pump is humming.
If Yes, there is your problem.
You will need to remove the pump to check that out.
Make sure it iturn freely.

How do I fix my LG WF-T1391TP top loader washing machine, as water does not flush out after a wash cycle, sometimes after a rinse cycle?

sounds like the drain pump could be clogged up might wanna lay it on its backside and take the motor out and inspect it for any buildup inside of its self as this can/will damage the drain pump however if there is nothing there inside the drain pump then the pump needs replacing

LG WF-T6517TC my washing machine WF-T6517TC when it start to wash get Alarm "dE" beep and stop machine. what need to do

Don't know exactly what that code is but normally washing machines will beep and switch off quickly if the pump is blocked.as it's not allowing water yo be pumped around.
I suggest that is checked firstly before calling anybody out.

Check the pressure switch and hose. Pressure switch is what turns the pump on and off. Trouble is usually in the hose so check it first. Look for the hose to be unattached or clogged.

Water filing

Possible your outlet hose is at floor level; this must have a certain height, the height may be marked behind the machine. The hose should reach this height (approx 30 inches) from the floor level, and then go down into your wall outlet or whatever. The outlet pump pumps this water out over the height. Check this out.
