FoneDog toolkit is such an impressive software that can parse these unreadable iTunes backup files for you and it allows you to preview and recover lost data selectively. Additionally, it does no harm to the current data. This software can extract contacts, call history, calendar events, notes, voice memos, SMS, iMessage messages and even App data easily from iPhone, iPad and iPod touch backup automatically.
Step 1: Launch FoneDog iOS Data Recovery
Step 2: Highlight a device you have ever synced with iTunes
Step 3: Click "Start Scan"
Step 4: Preview backup files
Step 5: Extract files of backup
Now, you must have extracted data from iPhone backup on computer. For avoiding losing data again, you are advised to do a backup on the computer, too. It is always a better way to do a backup than any other insurances.

If you've ever restored your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from iTunes backup, you'll know it. When you sync your iDevice with iTunes, it will generate a backup automatically for your device, and updates it every time when you sync. You can restore photos from iTunes backup to your device later when you have a need, but you need to restore the whole one and give up existing data on your device. That's to say, you'll only have the backup content on your device after the synchronization. Also, you can't preview or selectively recover part of the data. All or nothing, that's what iTunes can let you do. But, luckily we find a way to selectively recover photos from iTunes backup. Let's just see it!
iTunes doesn't allow you to preview the content of the backup, let alone taking data out of it. What should we do if we really want to preview and recover only photos from iTunes backup? You can manage it, just need an iTunes backup extractor like Fonedog Data Recovery. This software allows you to preview all details in the iTunes backup file, and you can selectively recover whatever you want from it.
Step1: Download and Launch Fonedog Recovery.
Step2: Select iTunes files to scan.
Step3: Recover deleted photos from iTunes backup.

If you have backed your iPad photos via iCloud or iTunes, you can try restore your iPad to get back the photos. Or you will need an iPad data recovery tool, like PhoneRescue. It will help you recover photos via three ways: from device, iTunes or iCloud.

Deleted video on iPad 2 by accident

Do you live in the United States? If you do then you can download them again for free - as long as the movies are available for free downloads. Apple has not forged agreements with every movie studio yet so you just have to check.

Launch iTunes, and tap on the purchased tab. In the upper left corner you will see a "View" button. Tap that in order to toggle among music, TV Shows and Movies. Select Movies and then see if the movies appear. If they do, tap the Movie icon and then tap the cloud icon next to the icon in order to begin the download.

You have to use the same Apple ID that you used to purchase them.

If you do not live in the U.S. then you will have to purchase them again.

Besides, I do like to share you another tutorial recovery deleted video from iPad 2, hope it can help you.
