. Might want to have the developer replaced and drum/cleaning blade normally done all together, then run the F8 procedure and make sure the counters where cleared. Did you recently replace the drum and the developer if so did you clear the counters for the drum and developer, FIRST? IF not then the copier thinks the new drum and new developer are old. The copier works on the counters that is how it knows it got a new drum and developer. Get new developer and a new drum and have it installed correctly. Counters are clear before the unit is yanked out of the machine, then you remove the image unit/drum unit replace the developer/drum and cleaning blade. (DO NOT USE A VACUUM CLEANER WHEN REPLACING THE DEVELOPER static electricity can destroy the sensor located below the developer unit. Then reinstall and RUN F8. Make sure the fax line and Ethernet cable is removed can't print anything until the F8 is run. Or you will start all over again with new developer and a new drum.

ATDC Sensor Failure
- The scanning value of the ATDC Sensor is less than 7 % while the IU Motor is turning.
- The scanning value of the ATDC Sensor is more than 19 % while the IU Motor is turning.

Remedy

1 Check the UN2 connector for proper connection and correct as necessary. 2 Remove the Developing Unit from the IU, and then replace UN2. 3 Run F8. 4 Change PWB-A. 5 Change PU1N.

I have a Konica Minolta Bizhub 282 that is moving papers well from the ADF but when about to copy, the blank papers get stuck in the drum unit area and error code C2557. How can l solve this?

Replace Drum Unit and Developing Unit.
if still, then look for c2557 troubleshooting.

Hi,
C2557: Abnormally low toner density detected black TCR sensor.
Detailed Error code explained below.
Possiable solutions.
* Open and close the front toner door.
* Restart the machine by turning off the LCD screen power switch, then by the main body switch located behind the access panel above tray 1 indicator light.
* Call Konica to get a tech out.

TCR sensor
• When sampling data is determined in TC
ratio calculation control, TCR sensor output
is higher than a predetermined value for a
predetermined number of times in a row
even though there is toner in the sub hopper.

the bizhub 222 typically does not not throw this error code this is an error code is for one of the older konicas and is a toner density error code check developer/ developer unit
if this is a bizhub 222 the toner density error code would be c2557
