I am repairing an mms321. To open it you must first remove the silver speaker facing which must be gently pried up as it is glued on to the face. This will expose the phillips screws which must be removed to allow the speaker assembly to be removed from the speaker housing. Once inside there are two mounting screws atop the transformer. These don't have to come out if they are not the cause of the loose parts.

It is glued together, you can pry it, which will break it, attempt to heat up the glue with a heat gun is your best option

Loud noise coming from subs car audio

All of the vibration from the subs rattled something loose, Most likely is the speaker to enclosure fasteners but it could be the case itself, internal baffles or even the speaker frame itself is coming apart.

JRX125...there was a rattle/noise that indicated blown driver on midrange horn...replaced drivers, noise still occurs. discovered loose 1/4 in jack to tip of plug...tightened fit, but didn't trust...

The noise MIGHT be a resonance in the cabinet. The way to find out is to sweep a frequency upward to see if something rattles at certain frequencies... Don't be surprised to find several. Within the cabinet are the usual culprits: Wires rattling against the cabinet, loose debris, grilles and the logos on them, circuit boards with crossover hardware, cabinet wood that is not glued and rattles against itself. Things like bass port tubes can rattle.
Find an audio generator and sweep the cabinet from 50Hz to 10KHz and you will be surprised. Some speakers may have resonances as well. Expect things in your room to start rattling as well.
This is really the only way to find the problem. PLEASE wear hearing protectors at levels above 90Db.

There's a metal rattling in my right ear cup (like something is loose inside), is this fixable?

You could take the headphone apart to see if something is touching the speaker - a small hair, for example, could've gotten past the protective grille and is causing strange noises each time the driver vibrates.
Hope that helps. Good luck! :)

My audiobahn eternal is making a rattling sound when it plays certain notes

might be your wires inside the box. My brothers does the same thing on deep notes, took the sub out and shorten the wires and seem to stop that noise or kinda rattling sound. I had two 12's the same ones you got, the noise i had was my 12's blowing the box apart lol. Don't hurt to check your box every now and again. hope this was helpful

Speaker is not working properly , rattling noise coming

Can you hear any rattling inside if you shake the monitor? It can be blown speakers or they are being driven too hard, just want to make sure before taking it apart. Do not expect too much sound from monitor bulit-in speakers since they use very small speakers that sound like tin can for most application.

(orignal game boy) no sound from speaker but rattling

i guess your speakers are not recognizing the ''treble'' sounds !
this case, the only solution is buying a new speaker =/
