The waste toner cartridge has a transparent extrusion on the bottom, which fills with toner when the cartridge is full, but also if it is half full and shaken so that toner falls into this extrusion. If this happens, the only way to remove the toner is to open the cartridge by removing the tape, taking the two halves apart and shaking/blowing/hoovering it empty. You can stick them together again with ordinary sellotape.

SOURCE: Epson Aculaser C9100 Colour Laser printer

If you changed the bottle and rebooted the printer with no change, it could be that the sensor for the bottle may be faulty. Try cleaning it:

1. Remove the CASSETTE ASSY.
2. Open the COVER ASSY FRONT.
3. Remove the two screws (silver, flanged, 8mm) that secure the COVER over the sensors. Remove the Snap from the main unit Frame, and remove the sensor COVER.
4. Use a paper towel or cloth to clean the sensor area of any dust or toner

How to install printer catridge

Locate Empty Toner Cartridge
  • Turn off your Epson C900 printer and unplug it from your computer and from the electrical socket. Open the left-side panel of your C900 printer and locate the toner cartridge you want to replace. Epson has labeled each of the four cartridges.

Remove Old Toner Cartridge
  • Stick a finger in each of the holes in the empty toner cartridge. Pinch your fingers together and then slide the cartridge out from the printer's interior.

Insert New Toner Cartridge
  • Remove the new toner cartridge from its packaging and shake it vigorously to remix any settled toner. Take the cover off of the new cartridge by lifting it up and out to the right. Slide the new toner cartridge into the empty slot in your C900 printer. Close the left-side panel of your C900.

We have an epson aculaser c1900 which is telling us to replace the waste t-box. What does this mean?

Hi, Waste toner container collects all the unused toner from inside the machine after every cycling, unfortunately the container gets filled up and needs6f1b8e0.jpg to be emptied at intervals. The container looks like the image inserted, just open up your printer and locate the container and empty it then reset and all will be well.

Epson Aculaser Need to bring faulty cartridge to front

On the LCD display choose the 'Reset Menu' Then within that menu keep going through the options till you get to 'Change Toner M' (if it is Magenta). Once you select the appropriate 'Change Toner' it will rotate to offer the correct toner.

  2. Select this (right arrow)
  3. Navigate till you get to Change Toner x (where x is the colour)
  4. Select this.
  5. Wait for the printer to stop churning.
  6. Open the front door and you should see the correct toner cartridge at the back.
