The water supply lines for the LG WM2277H are the same as almost all clothes washers sold in the US, which are standard garden hose threads, and use a standard garden hose washer.

If you mean that water does not come into the machine at all then you need to have the water inlet valves checked by a qualified Technician for correct operation.

I have WM1832CW washer. I believe the timer is not functioning. It washes, but stays in the spin cycle. Goes through spin for several minutes and then it gets the IE error. The fabric softener never goes...

The error you are receiving is a bad water valve inlet problem. It's typically the cold inlet, but it's better to replace both.

Depending on the type of water you have, the valves could have lots of sentiment blocking the filter screens inside the valve, which can be cleaned, you'll just need to remove the water hose attached, and check.

If your valves look clear, then they have just possibly failed, and need to be replaced.

Not completing cycle error IE

IE is a water supply error. turn water off to machine and unscrew your 2 water hoses on back of machine and clean inlet screens with old toothbrush. if they are clean, you probably have a stuck closed water solenoid.

Kinked inlet hose. Screened hose washer in inlet hose plugged. Frozen water supply pipe(s). No power to washer inlet valve(s). Old inlet hoses with separated layers, blocking water flow under pressure.
Turn off valves, remove from machine end, put in bucket and turn on valves to make sure you have water up to machine. Now work back to find why you are not getting water into machine.
