I just received the saddle and need to know how to set the stirrups and stuff
The correct length: the stirrup rest should be even with your ankle. How to adjust: on a Circle Y Barrel Saddle the stirrups are adjusted with a Blevins buckle. To adjust it, slide the keeper/sleeve of the buckle up the stirrup strap, toward the saddle seat. When it has cleared the tongue of the buckle, pull the tongue free, and place the pins on the buckle tongue into the appropriate holes on the stirrup leather. Then slide the keeper/sleeve back down the stirrup strap. If the new stirrup length results in the top of the fender being visible under the skirts, or the bottom of the fender being pressed against the stirrup, simply slide the stirrup leather through the saddle tree by pulling down on the leather (if the fender is too low) or pulling down on the fender (if the fender is too high).
I hope you have figured it out by now... You'll want the tread of the stirrup even with your ankle. (when you are sitting in the saddle on the horse....)
You need to be a little more specific in your question, actual strir-up ajustments or how to make sure they are the right lenght for your leg.
