Hello,
Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor from www.hp.com/go/tools to resolve the issue.
If issue still persists, let me know if there are any error messages displayed on the printer.

all you have to do is lift the top cover where the toner goes and remove the toner, now when u look inside you can clearly see the white colr spool or roller. This roller due to usage tends to pop up a little, so with one of ur fingers push it down and u will hear a click noise thats it, clean up if u see any dust load the toner back close cover and ur back in business.
good luck

This printer have a problem on HP circuit board. Usually its grounded due to ink waste, or not using it like what you said it took about three months. Here is a tip if your printer HP is still under warranty then you can send or contact to HP Center or the one you buy from it. To be sure that your printer is working back normally.
Good luck!
SOURCE: how to change a fuse in the hp 2800 printer, power up problems
There are 2 fuses inside the power supply unit.
The hard part is getting to the power supply! The power supply is located at the left side of the printer and in the front (the opposite side of the cartridges).
You have to remove the side and top covers.
There are some hidden screws. One is under the button faceplate that you will also have to remove. The entire procedure is tricky especially without a service manual. Unfortunately I couldn’t locate a manual.
Caution always disconnect the power lines and allow some time for capacitors discharge before you attempt any repairs.
I hope you have some luck with yours !!
