Is there network card is installed in it, if yes then you can configure it with your network go to machine Manu in machine control panel and the in network settings here you can give the IP address and subnet mask after then reboot the machine.

Your configuration sharing SMB folder is incorrect. Create desktop folder rename all upper case SMB right click on the folder and click sharing and set full control to everyone.
