Sure, You have many choices out there. I even saw a repair kit on Ebay for your monitor. You just can't purchase on this site.

It doesnt turn on

Thats caused by a shorted audio circuit. Replacing the K board will solve that issue. You can get the replacement K board from the following link scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see the K board listed. They also have installation assistance if you need it.

Kds K-92bw After about 5 min the screen goes blank..turning the unit off than back on the screen looks great for a while about 3 min than goes black..seems to be a caused by heat

This issue is most likely caused by a capasitor doing bad. There is no easy fix. It must be disembled and the power supply repaired. If done properly, it should cost somewhere between $ 50 to $125. But it may do it again as the Pwoer supply is a known issue for this monitor. Sorry.

No power to my KDS k-24mdwb monitor, can this be fixed by an individual?

You can try if you have proper tools and soldering skills.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

What does a blinking blue power light when pluggined in mean on a kds 900w?

It may mean that it is in shutdown/restart mode due to bad caps in the power supply or it may be sensing overloading, you need to open it up and inspect the power supply first for caps with bulging top/seals, see example of failed monitors due to bad caps: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see so we can guide you further.

My kds k-92mdwb monitor goes black after a few seconds. How can I fix this?

brendadeese, You might be able to repair it. Well your husband or boyfriend maybe. If good with a soldering iron, solder-wick, solder, and $5-$12 in new filter capacitors. You should have visited YOUTUBE for video clips of "LCD monitor disassembly"and "LCD monitor repair" to see just what is involved with making BLACK SCREEN of DEATH go away. Most LCD monitors (98%) use same basic backlighting technology. Here are some repair options for you to ponder over! A. If KDS has a swapout program for BSoD units try it first! B. Contract out the REFURBISHMENT work to reputable local firm that knows exactly what is needed to do the work properly. C. Trade in for new unit. But remember that the tech in the back of the store is going to repair your unit with a little luck and have a nice monitor to give to his kids on Christmas, and won"t need to do it again till Christmas 2011 or 12. I would also recomend a visit to www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm to learn what may be the cause of your BSoD. FYI If K92MDWb had a crisp, bright, colorful image just prior to BSoD, try doing the flashlight test so you will know if the units "switch-mode-power-supply" is in "full" or "partial" shutdown mode. 12fixlouie If this was of some help, please rate on fixya.

I have a KDS 5ms model 900W this was never used as my sister gave it to me since she was unable to get it to work. but like the others it won't stay on for more then 7 secs and you need to push the power...

These have problems with burning up transistors on the inverter side of the powerboard.
Sometimes they are fixable, sometimes not. It depends on which board is in it (they used 2 different styles)
I have done a few of these.
If you can open it up and send me a picture of the board to [email protected], I may be able to tell you more.
