Red light flashing above power button

So I turned on the dehumidifing function of my Portable delonghi PAC125 heatpump, woke up in the morning to see a little red flashing light by the power button (the red light with an ! mark above it). It looks bad. This is a portable aircon that was bought less than a month ago! Is it broken ?

Might just need emptying

  • Ruth Dove Jun 20, 2019

Thank you so much! Mine just did this and I emptied it into a cookie sheet. It was clogged with dust! I used a large safety pin that I opened and bent straight, got it pushed up to the head and swirled it around. That cleared up a little mass of dirt/dust and it drained. Plugged it back in and it came right back on!

SOURCE: Error Message

It's actually "Ft", which means "Full Tank".  The instruction manual says to drain the internal safety tank through the drain hoses.
To drain the tank, open the cover on the rear of the appliance. Pull out the 2 drain hoses, take off the caps, and let all the residual water flow out.  When all the water has been drained, place the caps back on the hoses and put the hoses back inside.
It also says you need to clean the filters and let them dry thoroughly before putting them back.
This is also the procedure for "End of Season Operations."
Hope this helps!

Make sure your filter & the coils (area under the filter) are clean or that the evaporated water is not overfilled by draining it manually by pulling the plug on the lower rear of the unit (into a bucket of course.) I'm hoping you had gotten an answer sooner...

Greetings,

I have the same model air conditioner, and had the same symptoms. As you've probably discovered, Fedders is the company that actually built it, and went of business. No one is supporting it any more.

However, you may be in luck. I fixed the problem by simply tipping the unit almost all the way over on its back (leave a little gap) and letting the water drain out of the hose and the filter. After that, it started right up.

Hope that works for you. Stay cool. :)

My Delonghi Magnifica's three red light indicators are solid red. I have unplugged and plugged back in to no avail. Any suggestions?

Which three indicator lights? The ones to the right of the power button? If they are flashing, then your steam knob is open. Turn it clockwise and try again.

Orange light mean

The orange light indicates its stuck in charging mode.
Hold volume down and power for 15 seconds, you should see the bottom buttons flash a few times and it will go into recovery mode.
Use volume keys to highlight restart phone and press power once.

My HTC mobile not going to on after pressing power button and on connection of charger it is showing red LED. Same there here. I woke up this morning and my phones just dead. Even if i connect the charger...

Remove the battery then connect the charger without the battery. Then hold down the power button for a few seconds. The red light may come up for a quick second during this process.

Don't remove the charger. After the red light goes off then insert the battery and check if the light turns amber or orange.

Leave it in orange or amber light state for about 2 minutes. After that, try to turn it on. If it turns on then it is resolved. If not then there is a hardware problem with your phone and it needs to be checked at any HTC Service Center.

Temp will not set above 32 degrees but will go

You may have a thermsotat problem if you get it to cool that low it will cause the condensor to freeze and will stop it from working.

Delonghi Pinguino Classic Portable Air Conditoner Works for 30 min then red light comes on

Have it serviced. It cost me $250 to have a pro do it. Also, check the timer (the dial is hidden by a sliding cover on my unit). My husband cleaned it himself a year later and he took it apart to do it and it works much better now. When he opened it up, it was full of calcium deposit and dust. He told me he did not think the unit had been cleaned properly by the pro.
