Gyropter makes sound but propellers do not move.

Batteries are fully charged. I can hear the motors whining but the shafts seem to be stuck? There is a SLIGHT movement in the shafts as I throttle up but they immediately seize and will not turn. I removed the shell and the gears all seem to be aligned correctly. Any ideas?

There is a loud whining coming from the motor

Hi Tyler:
Try using a mechanics stethescope (or a dowel sound rod, thumb over end held against your ear) and with the engine running, touch various components. You will hear different sounds, and hopefully be able to isolate the whine.
CAUTION - Work Safe - moving bits can make the sound rod hurt you.
I'd be guessing at an alternator bearing as they whine worse than a puppy on the wrong side of a door.
Cheers

My Gyropter will not ascend? Blades run at full speed

Sounds like the battery is not charged fully. Mine did that after I pulled it out of the box. Let it charge for a while longer.

Gyropter not lifting off after full charge

Hi,
Mostly all the micro copters problem are the battery and the the pinion gear that's been worn out.
Check both of these part. Battery should at least gives out 350 mili amp. and the gear should touch the propeller shaft gear at the bottom of the copter.

Get a lithium ion battery for more power and longetivity.

Hope that helps!

The gyropter will not charge when I plug it in

Hi,
Check the charger adaptor if it has any output power. If no power comes out replace the adaptor.
Check also the battery terminal, it might already corrode and needs clean up.
If all does not work, the battery in the helicopter is already malfunctioning.

hope that helps you out!

My parents bought a Propel RC 3-Channel Remote Control Gyropter for christmas like a month ago at JC Penney. When I tried to make it fly I noticed that the lower helix was not rotating. So I have not been...

I solved this same problem by removing the canopy and realigning the helix shaft with the motor gear. The small screwdriver provided will work. Be careful of the front white LED light when pulling the canopy off.

Nortic track c2155 will not propel. computer portion turns on fine but when hitting start nothing happens. i hear no motor sounds or anything. however, the track will move if pushed manually.

Unplug the unit and remove the motor shroud insert plug back in the outlet. The single most cause of no motor output is failure of the DC motor control. Look for any test lights on the power boards beneath the motor hood.If it operates on an open-loop system, the computer will run normally and not give and error code, but the motor will not turn. If you have a multimeter, you can test to make sure you have DC output from the controller spades if not replace the control board. If you have DC output, but motor is not turning the test the motor itself.
Cordless drill battery- get a fully-charged, 18 volt (preferred) cordless drill battery and on most treadmills connect the red and black motor leads to the battery (some have different colors but if you have two wires and get it hooked up backwards, the motor will just run backwards and won’t be harmed). If good, the motor should operate at about 1 MPH.
Car battery- these are 12VDC high amp batteries so the motor will turn slowly but you can walk on the belt. Always be careful with battery acid on these things so we don’t recommend bringing them in the house…take the treadmill to the battery.
Lantern battery- a fully charged lantern battery should operate your motor at a slow speed but lacks the amperage to have someone walk on the belt. If it does not rotate replace motor
