Most likely wood siding as there probably bugs (ants) behind the wood. Spray the areas of the holes with a very strong scent spray...product of your choice...the spray would be a 2:1 deal as it should solve 2 problems at once.

I have a 2006 Sahara and there is a clicking (woodpecker)like noise coming from the centre left of the dash. Noise is intermittent, like a relay clicking in and out. What could it be?

A control actuator for the temp or mode doors of HVAC system . Probably ! These actuators are electric with plastic gears inside that do strip an cause the clicking noise . Fix knocking sound from dash 04 Pontiac Sunfire or Cavalier Air Door...

Woodpecker problem

Hmmm.
Since this question is in the Washing Machine category, I would tie a string to the lid of the washing machine, and put woodpecker food inside it. When the woodpecker flies in to get the food, pull the string and the lid ill close, catching the woodpecker.

I'm installing a Blanco double basin composite granite kitchen sink and want to use a couple of the "knock out" holes ---- can I just knock it out with a punch and hammer, or do I need to...

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO KNOCK OUT THE HOLES!:) use a hole saw and a drill at slower speed than faster AND THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT,.. the hole saw has a bit in the center which is longer than the rest of the bit. when the center bit has penetrated the granite...STOP! and finish the the hole from the other side. hope this helps and good luck:)

The pilot light on my heater is more yellow and upward instead of blue and going to the side like it should. What is wrong and what do I need to do about it? Thanks!

well this is called a dirty pilot light. 2 things you can do. 1 is to tap the pilot housing with the handle end of a screw driver and see if it clears up. that may knock a dust ball from the air opening on the assembly and make it go blue again. 2 is a little more what realy needs to be done. follow the pilot tube to the pilot housing. disconnect the tube nut and look inside the houseing for a thimble looking thingy. this is the pilot orifice. it has a very small hole in it clean it without enlarging. look the housing over making sure the air hole is clear and reassemble. light pilot check gas connection with soapy water for leaks. that should take care of your problem . 3 which we dont want to talk about is low gas pressure but you didnt say anything about the main burner.

My built in side by side is making a noise about every 30 minutes or so that sounds like a woodpecker pecking on it...about 10 times. It is driving me crazy! Have any idea what this might be?

I have the exact problem with my built0in side-by-side Monogram. 1 yr 3 months old, and it sounds m=like a woodpecker for 3 seconds approximately 1ce/hr. Does not appear related to ice maker. You can create the sound by changing the temp setting on the drawer at the bottom. As you command a lower temp, the sound happens a couple seconds. Actually sounds like a solenoid opening and closing at 60Hz frequency, as though a control board were feeding AC to a DC coil. Any ideas? Fortunately, this fridge has a 2 year warranty, but this should not happen to a $6K dual condenser fridge in just over a year!!

Woodpecker sound every 10 to 15 minutes

Check and see if nosie is coming from inside freezer or behind refrig. Make a big dif as to where it is coming from. Also need to know if it only does it late at night or all the time.

Best way to tell if it is inside freezer is to open the freezer door, hold in on the light switch(s) for about three min. or so and see if you hear it. If it is there, then you either have a defrost prob and ice is building up around evap fan or you have a bad evap fan.

If from the back of unit, then pull rear metal cover on lower back and see if you hear it there. You may have a varmit that got caught between fan blade and housing..... be careful....you can get hurt or electrical shocking....

We have a kitchenaid ktrc 22e and it has just started thumping intermittently. I think it sounds like the copper pipe for the ice maker on the back of the refrigerator, but haven't got it totally narrowed...

I found out it's not the refrigerator, but a woodpecker knocking on the dish on the roof right above the refrigerator. Go figure, not a refrigerator problem... ;)

Woodpecker noise II

A technician should look at this. There could be a gear going bad on it. Ive see a fee cases where the drum gets bad and cant turn any more.

Are there error codes on the screen?

Make sure the right door where the bypass tray is closed all the way.
