SOURCE: i cant find the filter on the hotpoint aquarius wd440
Depending on which model you have ,there are 2 possible locations for the filter.
Check to see if there is a removable plastic panel at the botom front of washer, if there is then remove it and if there is a filter there , you will see it, unscrew the cover anti clockwise and clean same.
If no filter there then remove lower rear panel of washer, locate large black hose, and remove clip and hose from bottom of tub,be careful as there will be some water run out.
Remove plastic filter and ball ,clean and replace, and refit hose, making sure it is secured properly.
Test for leaks.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

The first question you need to ask yourself is, "is the drain pump running?" If you can hear the drain pump running when it tries to drain, then more than likely you have a clogged drain pump, or drain line. Here's how you can determine which one: You can check the drain line by seeing if it collapses when the pump starts to run. If it does, then you know you have a clogged line somewhere BEFORE the pump. This usually means an article of clothing has gotten between the wash basket and outer tub and is stuck in the line. If the line is full of water and doesn't seem to be going anywhere, hook up a wet/dry shop vac to the drain hose in the rear of the machine to see if you can pull water from the tub, through lines, and through the pump. If you can't, you know you probably have a clogged pump, or drain line AFTER the pump. If the drain pump does not come on, you may have a pump failure. In either case, you need to drain the water from the tub. A wet/dry shop vac does a great job at pulling water from the tub, so you don't have to bail. Let me know if this helps.
SOURCE: does machine have a filter
The filter is to be found at the rear of the washer.
Remove lower rear panel of washer, remove large black hose fastened to bottom of tub.
Watch out for water running out.
Remove plastic`filter inside hose and clean.
Refit filter and hose.
Dirty washing can somtimes be attributed to washing at too low a temperature, so make sure you have selected right temp for washing.

SOURCE: Noisy spin on hotpoint aquarius WF530 6kg washing machine. Suspect bearing how do I replace them.
If you spin the drum by hand, and it is niosy and rumbling then the main drum bearings have failed.
If under 5 years old, then you should be able to get it repaired under Hotpoint 5 year guarantee, You just pay for labour and call out, cheapest option, it is not really a D.I.Y job, as it is quite involved, and entails a lot of work.
Please rate my advice.
Thanks.
SOURCE: lights flashing / flickering on face on controls-machine not work
This is normally a signal that is for a control fault. you will need to pull the power and shut this unit down for 5 minute.. if the unit continues to flash after this reset, you will need to replace the control board/timer in this case. it has failed.
