F 11 Machine stops somewhere in middle of cycle w/ F 11 and won't re-start or cancel out. By unplugging a couple of times and playing w/ controls, I got it to cancel out. Then I put on rinse and spin and machine finished out normal. Over the past several months, this has happened a few times.

SOURCE: Washer stopping mid-cycle with no error

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you have drained, unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out. F-21 filter blocked.

How abt a nice rating for the free help?

I was getting the F H error code on my washer. I hit cancel twice to clear the code to see of a cycle restart would remedy. Now the wash cycle is stuck on 45 min. remaining & the cancel button is no...

The FH error code on your Kenmore Elite washing machine is an indicator that there is a problem with incoming water. When there is little water coming into the machine, the FH code will appear and the washer will stop. There are a couple of common problems you can check while you are resetting the FH error code. You will need to remove the power supply to the washer to reset the code.

  • 1 Look for the "Pause/Cancel" button on the washer control panel. The button will be below the digital time clock and to the lower right of the wash cycle selector.

  • 2
Press the "Pause/Cancel" button twice to cancel the wash cycle. Unplug the Kenmore Elite washer from the wall outlet.

  • 3 Check for kinks in the water supply hose while the washer does not have power. Turn off the water supply spigots and remove the hoses from the back of the washer. Check the port screens at the hose connections for sediment buildup and clean as necessary.

  • 4
Connect the water supply hoses back to the washer and turn on the water spigots. Plug the washer cord back into the wall outlet.

  • 5
Select the wash cycle and press the "Start" button.

    F 11 code

F11 is an indication of a communications problem.
Communications cannot be sent correctly between the machine control board and the motor control board.
    Here are some possible causes:
    • Loose wire connection at either the machine control board or motor control board.
    • Machine control board failure
    • Motor control board failure
    • Door lock
    • Motor
Error codes can be caused by a Power Surge or other electrical anomaly, attempt to return the washer to operation by following the Hard Reset procedure below.

In some cases the control can be non-functioning or may not accept activation from the control panel. To clear and restart the control follow the these steps:
    1. Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 10-20 minutes.
    2. Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the unit back into the wall outlet.
    3. Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the display.
    4. Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts.

My Whirlpool Duet Font Loader Washer stopped 1 minute before the end of the spin cycle; and I need to know how to reset it so that I can start another load of laundry.

Remove the front panelfbee677.jpg and check the pump filterd05d32e.jpg for objects8b65c4c.jpg then grab the tech sheet behind the white box and use the diagnostic instructions.
You have any non-HE soap in there or 2 much the machine will overamp and act all weird and then shut down with error code flashing. If it is an F-21 it means a Long drain. Possible cause: Clogged filter, clogged/failed pump.de495ab.jpg

    F 11 code

F01 - There may be an internal problem with the control, attempt a Hard Reset.

Hard Reset - In some cases the control can be non-functioning or may not accept activation from the control panel. To clear and restart the control follow the these steps:

    * Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
    * Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the unit back into the wall outlet.
    * Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the "PF" in the display.
    * Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts.

The F01 generally indicates a failed electronic machine control board.
This error code can sometimes be caused by a glitch or power surge through the electrical lines.
You may be able to clear this code by unplugging the washer for 5 minutes.
If the code returns after plugging the washer back in, then the electronic machine control board will need to be replaced.

The procedure for accessing and replacing this control board is shown in this image...

    http://media.fotki.com/1_p,wkwdftgtbkdgfrwxgtqsskgwtqkq,vi/ksrttqdqrxkssrqtgsd/1/1303472/5961857/image12917img-or.jpg

Be sure to unplug the washer before accessing internal components.
When you access the control board, I recommend transferring the wires from the old control board to the new replacement control board one connection at a time.
Once you have all of the wires transferred, remove the old control board and mount the new control board in the washer.
    Reassemble and test the washer.

The "F01" error code indicates a communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM onboard the CCU.
The "F01" can also be displayed if the onboard "Pump Driver" fails to activate.
Generally in order to correct this failure will require replacing the CCU.
There is no way to test and verify if the control board has failed.
The technical data sheet basically states to replace the CCU.

This error code indicates that the door is not locking.
Is the washer door firmly shut?
The door must be completely closed for the washer to operate. The door may look as if it's closed, but it may not be latched. Open the door and firmly close it.
Were you washing a large load?
Before you close the washer door, check for laundry items sticking out beyond the door opening. Leave enough space in the washer to allow the clothes to freely tumble. Reduce your load size if needed.
fl_doorseal.jpg To remove the error display, press Pause/Cancel twice.
    hcz_003_web_env1.gif

    If Pause/Cancel does not work:
    1. Unplug the washer or disconnect the power for one minute.
    2. Plug in the washer or reconnect the power.
    3. Re-select the cycle and press Start.
NOTE: If the error remains on the display, and all of the other conditions above have been checked, call for service.

I need to cancel a washing cycle in the middle of the cycle.

usually pressing PAUSE/CANCEL twice cancels the cycle and shuts it off allowing you to then re-start the cycle. If not try unplugging it and see if it resets to allow you to start cycle again.
