I have a top load Whirpool Washer. It either never fills with water but tells me it is going thru the cycles or it gets water but doesn't wash and rinse or just doesnt spin out. The control panel always shows it is going thru all the cycles but it doesn't. Any ideas?

Check the water supply by disconnecting hoses @ the machine & use a bucket to check the flow. If there is a good flow of water, then check the screens inside of the inlet valves for debri.

SOURCE: Washer not filling or agitating, during wash & rinse cycles

HI, this will occur if the timer mechanism has become unstable. you will need to replace this defective timer control module asap, if possible.

Washer won't drain.

My washer fills up with water and goes thru the wash cycle but when it's time to drain, it just sits there and clicks.

Whirpool washer will fill with water, but not complete the cycle

Ok, you will need to replace the timer/control. this device initiates the wash sequence and, if it is damaged in any way, the wash cycle may be interrupted at anytime. simply replacing the timer will fix this issue.

We just purchased a top load Kenmore 800 washer machine. We have washed 2 loads of clothes and Now it has stopped filling up with water. It will not do it to wash or to rinse. We have gone thru the mannual...

The first thing seems to be the timer,or the water level switch. Try filling the washer with water by hand, if it starts to agitate after being filled its the timer, if not it is the water level switch, let me know if you need further assistance.

Water keeps flowing does not stop---does not go thru cycles

You probably pinched the water fill hose that comes up from under the tub when you closed the cabinet. Also make sure it is free from trash in the bottom of the tub and that it is tightly connected to the water level switch.

Whirpool Duet won't spin clothes at high speed

Thinking of 2 things either the transmission is out or the clutch is burnt out and the drum basket and possibly the drive shaft broken as well. Prices vary greatly by how many of these things are broken but should run between 100-200 including labor.
