Sounds like off gassing. I suspect 1 of the following:
1. you didn't wait for the adhesive to dry to tackiness before applying
2. it's in direct sunlight or in a hot area
3. the material for the map is very thin and/or stretchy

Can plywood be glued to tile floor before laying vinyl planks ??

There are cement based compounds on the market that will allow you to just go over top of your tile floor. Make sure your tile floor is not loose anywhere, clean the floor well and use a patching compound over the existing tiles (this will fill in the grout lines and any uneven areas of the tile). It may take a couple of coats, maybe even 3 to get the floor smooth and level. You should be able to install your vinyl right on top of this and not have the added height of the plywood. If you insist on the plywood you could use a good quality construction adhesive with drilling and installing screws.

How to remove glue

Use a power sander. Sand it smooth. The new adhesive should stick just as well to the glue areas.

Mercedes-Benz e230 air pocket in cooling system

The shop is responsible for this. Driving it won't get the air out. There is a tool required to fill the cooling system and bleed out the air. If your 'mechanic' is really what he claims to be he should know that.

I just opened my pool this week. Water was pretty clear. I use the vaccum, on waste with port 1 which leads to skimmer. I added chemicals yesterday....I was wondering when the pump is running regular for...

the trick is to start with the pump pulling from the main drain, you will see air pocket in the pumps basket (most cases) turn the valve back slowly towards the skimmer as soon as you see the air pocket disappear, You have the perfect blend between the two sources. and a happy pump.

How to change a lateral in an s244s hayward sand filter

You will have to remove the sand so you might as well buy new sand. Remove drain cap and allow to drain. Remove multi port valve from top of filter. This model should have a clamp holding the valve onto the filter. You will have to disconnect the piping from valve for removal, so if it's piped solid, cut piping, and buy PVC unions to glue back in place so you can open in the future. If it's hose, then no problem. OK so once you remove the valve, you can see inside and see the sand. Take a shop vacuum and vacuum the sand from the filter. Take your time and empty vac, before it gets too heavy. Once empty, you'll see the laterals in the bottom. They if you rinse them off with a hose, to remove sand to keep from binding. The laterals should fold up to the center. Once folded you can remove assembly. After installing new laterals, partially fill the filter with water before adding sand. Cover the down pipe so no sand can enter. Add sand gently so you don't break new laterals (water helps cushion the adding of sand) You can download a manual here :

Water leak in travel lite truck camper has caused over cab bed area plywood to decay. Need diagram or schematic to determine best method of repair.

Hi brad, I had the same problem with a camper. I do not know of any available schematic, but would recommend dis-assembly of ceiling area to fix. It's not any easy job, but the only way to fix it properly. Remove all water damage section, make sure water is not pooling on the exterior roof. If it is collecting on the roof, you must brace it from underneath to raise any 'dips' so it sheds water, and make sure you apply a sealing coat (available at trailer stores, or on line) on the exterior. Also, if you park the camper when not in use, make sure you tilt it to help shed water more quickly. You have to use your carpenter and auto body skills to fix this. Don't put it off, I did and the roof deteriorates very quickly once you notice you have a problem. To remove plywood that is damaged, use a skill saw set at the minimum depth (thickness of the plywood) so you don't cut thru anything else. Use a drill to determine the thickness. To install new plywood, cut to fit the opening(s). Next get 3" wide by 3/4" thickness boards, place above cut out area, half on existing ceiling, half hanging over cut out, screw in thru existing ceiling into boards, attach replacement piece, screw into overhanging boards. You can putty over the joints, sand sand and paint, or just glue some sort of fabric to cover the area and make it look finished. Good luck!

I AM HAVING TROUBLE OUT OF MY BOSTITCH MIIIFS FLOOR NAILER

D Farley,
I repair these nailers all the time. Anytime the nail or staple is bending you have 2 causes. Either the stapler has a broken blade, the magazine is loose on the foot gate, or you are shooting into plywood over concrete. that is allowing the staple to hit the cement subfloor. Use 11 /2" staples on 3/4" wood floor over 3/4" plywood when over concrete.
