You're probably trying to graph a function that does not involve stat plot features. You can correct this by turning off the stat plot features. Press "2ND" "STAT PLOT" and then select 4:PlotsOff.

If you're doing something else, what exactly?

you can reset all variables, without losing all your programs. you can hit 2nd>Mem(plus symbol)>reset>All ram Then verify that you wish to do so... It should reset to a working condition... If it doesn't then you may need to lose your programs in order to get your calc to a working condition.

SOURCE: error :invalid DIM

This is my first post on this site, but I've had friends at school ask me about this. Apparently I'm like a calculator genius or something...

One solution I know of is clearing the RAM. Sounds strange, doesn't it? But it fixed three different calcs.

Be sure to back up or archive important data before doing this.

SOURCE: My TI-84 Plus gives answer as 2.145274703E14, what Is E?

E is the calculators form of scientific notation. so 2.145274703E14
is really 2.145274703 x 10^14 or 214527470300000

Hi,
There 4 or 5 programs for the TI83/4Plus family of calculators available at ticlac.org. Scroll down the page to find them. Download them and transfert to your calculator using TIConnectivity software.

Hope it helps.
Thank you for using fixYa and for rating the solution.
