How do I get to a paper jam on my Minolta 1600w magicolor?

Place a few papers in the tray.
Open up the top, pull out the main (green handle) thingy.
In the very bottom you will see a bar with a single large round rubber wheel in the middle, and white gears on both ends of the bar.
Manually turn the right side gear toward you.
As you do this, you will see the paper lift up and as the rubber wheel turns you will see that it has a notch on the bottom side.
Turn the gear, and watch the rubber wheel until the notch on the rubber wheel is facing up and away from you (and the paper is fully engaged).
Then put the green-handle thingy back in, close the printer, and it should work.
Apparently this resets something.  I have done it a number of times - usually after a paper jam.

How do you clean the rubber rollers, hope you didnt use solvent....
Use dry cloth with dishwashing fluid only to wipe the rollers.  You will notice the increase in grip immediately.

Try this, I had the same problem, and this worked for me, TURN OFF the printer and OPEN the back of the printer, NOT where the cartridges go, you will see TWO LIGHT GREEN LEVERS at the top, lift them up and gently pull down the BLACK FRAME READING CAUTION, this area can be very hot to touch, so make sure the printer is OFF and FEELS COLD, then with a BABY WIPE clean THE INSIDE, especially the SPIKES or GROOVES where the paper should transfer out. BEFORE CLEANING these SPIKES or GROOVES can get a STICKY BUILD-UP that catches the paper and needs a good cleaning.
After cleaning, put back BLACK FRAME READING CAUTION and replace the LIGHT GREEN LEVERS to their position, close the BACK COVER and TURN ON your printer. Try again.

Anytime this happened to me, I done this and the printer worked perfect.

have you tear the paper when removing? there is a small paper left still inside the paper path. open the back side and the top part and check for small paper. I hope that will solve your problem and if think the problem still there the problem is one of the paper sensor actuator is broken or out of place.

Please check the sensors and actuators ,open & close front door to reset nisfeed.Clarification Top feed = Automatic Document Feeder?If YES,please verify misfeed paper beetween coverplaten and feedbelt(Yellow).Is necessary disassembly the ADF.Good luck.You will find a little paper.
