Firmware failure with inbuilt ROM

1. Improper firmware update.
2. SD Card size greater than 2 GB used.
3. Multiple ROM data folders in SD Card.
4. Improper Java firmware update.
5. Power failure during firmware update.
6. Power line issues on the outlet.
Replacement of the Controller Board is necessary in case SC Code 878 occurs.

Straight from the service manual....just use the last 4 digits when doing a search, makes it easier to find the specific code as not all manuals are the same in how the code is displayed.

CC152 ROM contents error upon startup (Scanner)
• A fault is detected in a sequence of ROM contents check of the PWB-C during starting.

16.5.79 CC151: ROM contents error upon startup (MSC)
16.5.80 CC152: ROM contents error upon startup (Scanner)

1 Check the ROM version. - -

C-C152 at power up, the counters display as 0 and the operation panel display is in Japanese.
Solution
CAUSE: Main body firmware is corrupt.
SOLUTION: Flash or re-flash the firmware to the latest level.

Always check the connections and power supply first. if this doesn't work and everything is connected, you might try to update the DVD Rom firmware. a program (free) called Imgburn will allow you to check and find any firmware available. If this still doesn't fix it you may need a new drive (they don't last forever).

and install on phone

after installing go to menu >tools> configuratioon check all :- "Show hidden files", "
Show system files" ,
" show Rom Drives",
"Show ram Drives".

then click back
now you will see a drive with letter Z (Which is the inbuilt memory )


go to drive z


Now go to

Z:\Data\Sounds\Digital\

There you will see the list of all inbuilt songs
which can be copied by this xplore applicaton to the desired folder.

We do not require Driver for CD drive, it is inbuilt drivers.

If your Cd drive is not working , check these steps to check if it is a h/w failure or not

1) Try booting in safe mode and try playing a cd/dvd
2) try using any other disc
3) try booting from your windows xp/vista disc. you just have to insert the disc and when you see the msg says Press any key to boot from cd . you have to tap a key and if you get a screen says windows is loading file. it is not a h/w failure.

in that case go to device manager and try uninstalling secondary ide controler and restart the system. it works fine then


if this does not work let me know so I can post you another solution but that will lead you to registery editing which is a sensitive part. try this. Hope issue will get resolved by this.

Can you be more specific regarding the Engine Logic Board Failure as in is it timing, rom/ram, micor pitch or NVRAM as code 80 is a failure code for
Engine Firmware Halt Failure .

try reinstalling the drivers for it by going to the device manager.Also you can try using it in safe mode and see if that works.Incase is does not work over there than you would have to get it replaced
