if you want to use your calc for this you would have to put it in as the operations to change the mixed to improper fraction i.e. input exactly as "((8*3)+6)*((3*7)+1)="  remember?  take denominator times whole number plus numerator and put over denominator to convert from mixed to improper... hope this helps

How do I stop my ti 34 ii calculator from automatically rounding numbers in scientific notation?

First, bear in mind that the calculator is going to round numbers eventually, as it can only show a finite number of digits.
You have some control over where and how this rounding takes place. Press [mode], down-arrow, down-arrow, then right-arrow to the choice of decimals desired. Press [enter] to select it.

TI 30X II S operation

This is a not a calculator problem, it's a physics problem. You need the formula: E = hf, where f is the frequency and h is "Planck's constant" (6.626068 x 10^-34 m^2kg/sec).

On your calculator, punch in 3.0 [EE] 12 [x] 6.63 [EE] -34 to get the answer.
