Error code 7-402

I have a Xerox 7750 Color Printer (Tektronix Phaser 7750) and the machine has a failure error code of 7-402. I tried to get it running and it keeps giving the same code after rebooting. Any ideas?

Error codes 7-401 to 7-404 are life end for the tray rollers. If no jamming probs then enter diags mode (Back and'i' buttons and switch on) scroll down to NVRAM access and select. find CRU counters and select, clear each tray counter and then exit.

Tray 2 rollers near end of life. Buy a new set of rollers 600K78460, and then reset the counter in the diags.
Some 7750's can't be reset, in which case you need to buy an Engine Controller Board 116-1811-00

Fan Failure Error 54

1 of 2 things.
You need to clean or replace the fan.
You have to remove the back, right side and top cover to access that fan.It is near the back just behind the fuser module.
It could also be the low voltage power supply fan. Most likely the fuser fan.
Once you remove the fan, there is a label on it, remove the label, There is a rubber plug behind the label, remove the plug and drip some lubricant into the fan. Reassembly and it should be ok.
I would recommend replacing the defective fan though.
Here is a very reliable part source.
https://www.partsdrop.com/store/

If you call ask for Britt and specify the model number and that you need a fuser fan and probably order a Power supply fan, Neither are very expensive.
Have both on hand to be 100 percent sure the problem is resolved, But its a 90 percent fuser fan failure code. It operated in a heated area and can dry out faster.

That normally indicated a heating issue with the print head. Could be the printhead itself or an issue with the electronics module providing the source voltage for that heater

PHASER 8500DN ERROR CODE: 09,038,46.8515

That is a black ink stick count failure.
It is not seeing the black ink stick.
See if a stick is broken or not in place. One may be twisted or just jammed.
Outside chance you would need an ink loader because the sensor is not detecting the ink
Check the black sticks see if you can clear it by moving them around or sliding them up and out and reloading.

Code 09,038.46:4776 whats wrong

that code indicates most likely you have an ink stick in crooked, a broken ink stick in or added pieces of an ink stick.
That code is showing that you most likely have an ink stick loaded incorrectly or it broke.

Phaser 860 error code 07.003.45:116163

It is a print head tilt error.
Most likely ink is in the stainless steel pivot block at the bottom of the print head.
Also the printer could have been unplugged and the cleaning blade is stuck to the print head.
Or a cable is binding the print head movement.

Tektronix Phaser 850 Service Fault 13.019.40

Most likely a bad print heat. One of the ink heaters is overheating.

Phaser 8200

Not a problem, but turning it off causes the machine to do a setup, which then purges the ink supply and is very wastful.
