SOURCE: I need step by step instructions on using Casio fx-115ES ee or exp burron.

The equivalent of the EE or EXP button on the Casio Fx-115ES is marked as x10^X. It is located at the bottom right of the key pad left of the = key.
To enter the power of 10 in a number written in scientific notation, you press the x10^X button followed by the exponent. If the exponent is negative you press the change sign key first [(-)] , then the one or 2 digits in the exponent.
Example Enter the mass of the proton m_p in kilograms
1.6726217 [x10^X] [(-)]27 [=]
In grams the value above is multiplied by 1000.
or
1.6726217 [x10^X] [(-)]24 [=]

Since the calculator has the physical constants (the FX-991ES definititely has them)

  1. Display the proton mass in kilograms
  2. [SHIFT ][7] to open the constants catalog,
  3. type 01 for the proton mass, then press the [x^-1].
  4. Divide the result by 1000
  5. You should get 5.978638635 x10^23

How do i get the ee to work on my casio fx-115es plus?

What you call the EE ((entering power of 10 exponents) is done with the help of the key at the bottom right, and marked [x10^X].
To enter 6.02x10^23, you do as follows
6.02 [x10^X]23. When you use that short-cut key, no 10 should appear on the command line. See screen capture.

WHICH BUTTON SHALL I USE FOR EE OR EXP ANN ALSO FOR(+/-)

To enter an exponent of ten (EE), use the x^10^x key on the bottom row of the keyboard, between the decimal point and Ans keys. To raise a value to another value, use the x^ key to the right and below the circular cursor pad, between the x^2 and log keys. To raise e to a power, use e^x, the shifted function of the ln key on the rightmost column of the keyboard, between the logab and tan keys. To change sign (+/-), use the (-) key on the leftmost column of the keyboard, above the RCL key.

Where is the exponent key on Casio fx-115es calculator?

To raise 10 to an exponent, use the 10^x function (SHIFT log). To raise e to an exponent, use the e^x function (SHIFT ln). To raise an arbitrary value to an exponent, use x^y (just above the sin key). To enter an exponent of ten, use the x10^x key to the right of the decimal point.

Trying to use in standard form says to use the exp or ee button which i cant find plss help !!!

Hello,

Times are achanging. The powers of 10 used to be represented by EXP or even EE. But cheer up, it seems that Casio came to its senses and now they represent it as x10X (multiply by 10 to the Xth power) It is the middle key on the lowest row.

After you press the key, enter the exponent.

How do I calculate exponential functions?

The y^x button is right next to the x^2 button. It is labled with an x raised to a square box (which I will write as x^box). Thus, if you enter (for example)

2 x^box 5 = 32
