It sounds like its overwinding. the clutch should stop it from overwinding. get it checked out.

First, you wind the crown by turning it clockwise about 30-40 turns (the knob in the between the chrono pushers, at the side of the case; this, to start it up and get it going, your wrist movement keeping it wound from there, with a power reserve kicking in over night to keep it running while you sleep so as to be ready for you in the morning to wear and thus through such wear winding it up via your wrist movement all over again ;) . To set the time, pull out the crown out and turn it to move the hands so as to set the correct time. When done, remember to return the crown to its original position and enjoy.
